Washington State lawmakers consider several gun-control related bills

The Daily Sheeple – by Sean Walton

While the focus has been on Virginia’s proposed gun-control legislation lawmakers in Washington State have been busy introducing their own violations of the Second Amendment. The two bans are strongly supported by the governor.

Here is a list of proposed bills:

SB 6077: Bans “large capacity magazines”

Senate Bill 6077 would prohibit any person in Washington state from manufacturing, possessing, distributing, importing, transferring, selling, or purchasing “large capacity magazines.” Exceptions include people who already own such magazines, as well as law enforcement officers. The bill defines “large capacity magazines” as “an ammunition feeding device with the capacity to accept more than ten rounds of ammunition.”

HB 2241: Bans “assault weapons”

House Bill 2241 would prohibit the sale or possession of so-called “assault weapons,” such as the AR-15 or AK-47. The bill would not apply to such weapons owned before January 1, 2021.

HB 2467: Creates a centralized background check system

House Bill 2567 would create a centralized gun background check system under the purview of the Washington State Patrol. This proposal is expected to have bipartisan support.

SB 6288: Establishing the Washington Office of Firearm Violence Prevention

Senate Bill 6288 would create a new office dedicated to “coordinating and promoting effective state and local efforts to reduce firearm violence.” The office would work with law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and pubic health officials across the state on violence intervention and prevention efforts.

HB 2519: Restricts access to ammunition

House Bill 2519 would require background checks on ammunition sales in order to prevent the purchase of ammunition by felons and others prohibited from owning firearms.

HB 1374: Local authority to regulate firearms

House Bill 1374 would “provide local jurisdictions the ability to build upon statewide standards and adopt responsible approaches to firearms regulations to help address the epidemic of firearm violence in their communities by restoring inherent local authority to adopt firearms regulations under the police power to protect public health, safety, and welfare.”

  1. We are going to the capitol to peacefully assemble. It wont be another virginia, but one can hope. 1/31/20 @ 11am

    1. Let us know how that peaceful assembly turns out for you when the Washington corporate commies push through infringements on your Bill of Rights in spite of peaceful assemblage, just like Virginia did the very next day. Oh, & are making it criminal to speak out against the tyrants.

Whats making you all so peasfull, the fluoride or the vaccines?

    2. “We are going to the capitol to peacefully assemble. It wont be another virginia, but one can hope.”

      One can hope for what?

      1. they hope their masters wont beat them and throw them in a box… how fckin pitiful we have become (well some of us anyhow)

  2. All treason against our people and bill of rights. As Henry says, it is our ratified, codified law and if any of these traitors are claiming otherwise then there can be no law, constitution or other authority in existence.

It all becomes Null and Void by definition of our bill of rights and we are under an insurrection which has been ongoing for a very long time.

So, NO, there will be no protesting or asking for redress of grievance from naked traitors, yelling “we will not comply”, all the while you are standing there complying is fkn disgusting.

When we the people decide to assemble, it will be a truly great day as we begin the long arduous process of cleansing our nation and eradicating this entire criminal corporate system of maritime governance.

And the only disarming will be of the un-American traitors wearing costumes whom are enforcing their masters edicts….

  3. I am so glad Washington State has solved all of its homeless and budget problems so they have the time and money to violate the people’s rights and their oaths of office.

They could not care less about anybody getting killed, that’s a bonus in their evil world. This is about two things and two things only – power and control. As one commenter said, the only reason they want our guns is because they are getting ready to do something we would shoot them for.
