Henry, glad you did more clearing up of what The Declaration of Independence actually is. You prompted me to give it a reread. Like so many others, I grew up thinking it was gold, a veritable ticket to my sacrosanct and assured liberty. Today this little piece jumps out at me:
“That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men…”
Hmm… So right there and then they’re actually saying that without them (the government) our rights are NOT secure. Imagine that!! Well, they did throw in that they derive their powers “from the consent of the governed.” That sure has proven itself true over the years, hasn’t it? I mean they fully listen to us and respect our opinions and ideas, and oh how they honor our privacy. NOT!!
Then this morning I come across this:
The Declaration of Independence Project:
The Declaration of Independence Project asks a simple question: ‘Are you Brave Enough to Sign?’
So this comes out of The National Archives. Pretty “official,” eh?
Well, you gatekeepers at The National Archives, where’s the petition for The Bill of Rights. Is real liberty too scary for ya? Are patriots wanting to eliminate the middle man a threat to your control apparatus and the lavish lifestyle if affords? We already are free, regardless of any unlawful structures that are put in place, and freedom is getting ready to show itself in its purest form through every sovereign individual American National. 1776 had nothing on 1775.
