FOX News is running a series this week called “Entitlement Nation, Makers and Takers.” Well let’s just take a look and see who the makers and takers are. The 99ers for the past 30 to 40 years, for just a living wage, were the makers of products which created enormous wealth, which the takers, the corporations, piled up. Those same 99ers and every other middle class working person also accumulated about $4 trillion in Social Security and Medicare paid in. Not to mention the $3 trillion we paid in income taxes, that by law we did not owe.
Now let’s look at the takers. Wall Street has taken a trillion dollars in bail outs and stimulus. They have taken billions in tax cuts. They have taken a trillion through their industrial war complex. They have taken $25 trillion through buying and selling debt back and forth among themselves for the past 40 years.
Now they want to take Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, welfare, and public and private pensions plans at the same time that they are further eliminating corporate profit taxes, which are lawful under the Constitution. They have trillions stashed in offshore accounts for the purpose of avoiding taxes. If one of us did the same we would be put into a federal prison.
They love to use welfare as an example of somebody getting something for nothing, as they are cashing out our natural resources that they are paying nothing for.
Let’s look at Social Security. It was sold to us as an old age insurance plan. Now after we have paid into it for 30 or 40 years they are calling it entitlements and saying we are getting something for nothing; and the same of course for Medicare.
Now let’s look at welfare. There are tens of millions of us who had money taken from our checks to pay for the welfare program safety net. Now after all these years of paying in, if we try to use the safety net we are labeled as lazy good for nothings, again wanting something for nothing. Of course the filthy rich will not speak of their corporate welfare as they, GE, Boeing, Bank of America, and Exxon Mobil just to name a few, are at present wanting to pay no taxes while collecting billions from the paychecks of the middle class.
All of these Wall Street bastards have taken trillions for no other purpose than to pile it up. They are infected with the sickness of greed. When one person accumulates so much wealth that he or she can buy every material good they can conceive a hundred times over, what do they desire? Power over their fellow human beings.
I have a message for you sleazy sons of bitches at FOX News. We know who you are and we know what you are. You are not going to dictate who we the people have as our next president. We are going to put Ron Paul into the Oval Office. Then we are going to punish every damn one of you for your crimes. How dare you refer to us as takers after all you have taken from us? You are going to pay for your treason.

Everyday my heart hurts at the unresponsiveness torwards those that now have nothing, or soon will have nothing. I am also, confussed at the total hatred torwards the unemployed, 99ers, underemployed and homeless here in America. I am seeing this hatred ramp up more and it actually is making me sick to my stomach.

The 99ers represent a great culling. The elite, in moving our industry overseas where slaves now manufacture our natural resources, no longer need us. In fact we have become a liability. If they could just kill every one of us they could have our Social Security money and not have to worry about us consuming what they now consider to be their resources.
We need to curb stomp their sorry asses and let them know that although men make money, money does not make a man. It is coming soon.
Entitlement…hmmmm…interesting subject. One could argue that corporate greed is a form of entitlement. Corporate CEO pay increases 560% relative to average employee wage from 1990 to 2004 even when the business is losing money…just saying something stinks here.

Well its been going on for some time now the goverment and the people who are being voted in are not looking out for the interest of American people. And its painfully obvious that a select few are making alot of money off the decisions that they are making in congress. But heres a new one, I just read that members of congress are making a significant amount of money off the stock market. What a bunch of crooks. Something has to be done to change the way things are. The Corruption must be stop.

I have sent faxes and emails to all of those in power and explained in detail my desperate situation, all to no avail. You are correct, they want us all to die so they can take our social security for their own interests. This makes me so angry!! I am certain they will kill HR589, yet they have plenty of money for their fat selves and to send overseas. BTW, my sister told me of a person that posted a job for a restaurant and they received over 1500 resumes for one job!! There are no jobs out there!! Especially if you are over 50 like me but they want to raise the ss age??
You’ve seen this part before in old movies, where the B-52 Bomber is running low on fuel – and is still miles out over open water – far from the airfield? What does the crew do? They start throwing unnecessary equipment out-the-door. That’s what the 99ers are. About 10% to 20% of the working population is disposable and are going to go under so the rest of us can continue unscathed. Ironically, most of us are the sons and daughters of those depicted in the films.
Make no mistake – this is an awful time to be unemployed and over fifty in this country. Many are just simply not going to make. With decades of work experience – it’s a terrible waste of resources, not to mention inhumane. The only satisfaction to be had right now is that most of those young recruiters who were so dismissive to us oldsters in the last two years are now in the same predicament! Payback is a b**ch, isn’t it?
