Senator’s daughter who raised price of EpiPen got $19 million salary, perks in 2015

Chicago Tribune This isn’t the first time Mylan chief executive Heather Bresch has been under fire.

Bresch, who started out in a low-level position in quality control at one of the company’s factories, is the first female head of a large pharmaceutical company. She made a name for herself by turning the EpiPen – once an obscure injection device for allergy sufferers that she calls her “baby” — into a blockbuster billion-dollar drug. But the 47-year-old has found herself in the hot seat in recent weeks as consumers and lawmakers have expressed outrage over the rising cost of the drug and have called for investigations into the company’s pricing practices.  Read more: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/ct-epipen-ceo-bresch-salary-20160824-story.html

Anaphylaxis is a serious allergic reaction that is rapid in onset and may cause death.[1][2] It typically causes more than one of the following: an itchy rash, throat or tongue swelling, shortness of breath, vomiting, lightheadedness, and low blood pressure. These symptoms typically come on over minutes to hours.[3]

    1. CLETUS BEAT ME TO THIS ONE…… NEVERTHELESS……. ARREST!!!!!!!!!! TRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SENTENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  1. This greedy, crooked bitch increased the price of this “Epipen” by something like 400% (if I remember right) for no good reason other than to kill off poor people by making it unaffordable.

That’s the way all healthcare has been going. If a poor person survives a major health issue, he’ll be stripped of everything he owns before it’s paid off. Even if you have insurance, any major health problem will break you.

it’s just another way of wiping out the “useless eaters”, and taking the last of what you own.

  2. Guess people need to just talk with their wallets instead of freaking out.
F the company make a call to the doctors office and get your script changed today.

“Since the devices are different, your pharmacist can’t just substitute Adrenaclick if your prescription says EpiPen, so you’ll need to ask your doctor to prescribe the one you want. ”

Then there is always the even cheaper alternative of just injecting yourself or by someone else which will most likely be the case with the pre-filled syringe.
