  1. Thanks to all who donated, and congratulations to the winners.

Would have if I could have, but we’ll be lucky to have a roof over our heads much longer.

    1. Well…hatr….even though we’ve had our differences.
If you ever get into a bind.
I can clear off an acre here if you can get a camper or trailer.
      It is harsh yet beautiful.
I have a well so at least there is a water source.
So set your mind at ease.
You have a place to go if needed.

      1. Thanks, flee, appreciate the offer.

I’m really partial to Oregon now, though, and will do whatever it takes to stay here, if at all possible.

    2. I hear ya #1, was about homeless myself and the pooches(my pack)lol. I haven’t donated all that much and it looks like that is about to change to a smidge better. Lotta things went south with business so I jumped back into mystery Babylon with both feet. Got a driver lic. after 5 years and picked up on a flatwork job with a small company. I haven’t worked for another for more than 15 years.

      1. I’m no stranger to it, Hal. Back in the 90’s I slept in my car, and then in a park after losing the car. I finally got a decent permanent job in ’01, and had a nice house to live in (with very low rent) up until summer of 2013. Then the owner moved back in, and considering the high rent (in any decent areas) in L.A., I opted to sleep in the warehouse (rent free). That lasted for about a year, until my manager finally found out, and changed the lock. So, for the last 8 months before quitting and moving here, I slept in my car. Not easy in a Honda Accord.

          1. Thanks, Hal. On top of everything else, I’m about to lose my internet provider. Just can’t afford it anymore.

Probably won’t be around much until I can find a replacement, and I won’t be able to do that till next month. No usable Wi-Fi spots here at the apt.

        1. I hear ya there…
When my divorce started in 2006.
I had a stint sleeping in my car.
Ya just can’t get a good nights sleep in one.
          I call them short naps.
Then you have to sleep with one eye open.
Cause ya never know who’s gonna roll up on you banging on your window.
Its even worse now cause these damn cops will kill you for sleeping in your car.
That’s if the local thugs don’t jack you first.
          Hang in there.

          1. Be thankful you weren’t doing it in Compton. But at least it was in an industrial area (my warehouse parking lot), which doesn’t hold much interest for the gangbangers.

Regardless, I was extremely vulnerable there. Not a good place to be sleeping.

  2. Great prizes offered on all these drawings. Congrats to all winners, thanks to all who contributed. And most of all thank you Henry,J.D.and Laura for hosting such a great site.we really are all winners here.

  3. Congrats NC…!!!
I remember when I purchased my sword at a Las Vegas gun show.
The guy at the booth…looked oriental.
But I noticed on both his forearms he had scars of cut marks up and down all over like tattoos.
    He said to me…
Yeah… you can chop somebody in half with this.
    I said okay…. I’ll take it… sold.
I would rather be shot personally then hacked up by one of these.
What was that skit by John Belushi….Samurai Taylor I think.
    Awesome…!
The only advice I can give is….
Don’t pull it out with sandals on.
    If you drop it.
You’ll be missing a few toes. You can actually shave with these they’re so sharp.
    Njoy.

    1. Thanks, Flee. I actually thought it was just a replica, but you’re saying it’s actually real. Even better. In any case, thanks for helping to support FTT.

      1. Not sure if it is a replica or real….
        But I do know.
        It is badazz.
Remember that scene in pulp fiction with Bruce Willis?
All I know is that it’s nicer then mine.
But both will get the job done.

    1. Well Missy, I will be sending Bulldog his 1 oz silver bar by usps priority mail on Monday along with all the other prizes to their new owners. I would have sent them today but I was grocery shopping in town (70 miles one way to nearest shopping center) Thanks for the inquiry and congratulation to all the winners. Swifty 🙂

  4. Didn’t listen today. The weather was unbelievable so we did outside stuff all day. Now if they will only quit manipulating metals prices silver will go up up up.
Henry, do I shoot an email with my address?
    Thanks!

  5. Swifty,
Don’t worry the silver is going to a good home. It will be placed next to a few others that I have and used only on a rainy day or if it goes to its true value.
    Thanks for supporting fttwr brother!

    1. You are more than welcome Bulldog. I am glad I am blessed enough to be a part of the drawing from time to time. I pulled this from my personal stash (which is a small stash) I know you will treat it right. I feel privileged to be in the company of such people as the trenchers.

  6. Thank you Swifty. Thank you Henry and Laura. Thank you everyone. I had recently given a book of “Sun Tzu and What Frederick the Great told his Generals” to a friend who was interested so I have not one.
I didn’t catch the report today but it did go out over the air. I will listen after 20:00 hours.

  7. Congratulations to all the winners. Thanks for supporting the best site out there! Thank you Henry and Laura, for doing what you do.
