Erika Soto Lamb, Communication Director for Everytown for Gun Safety, admitted to conservative radio and television journalist Dana Loesch that the anti-gun group (which includes Mayors Against Illegal Guns) has armed security while in Indianapolis.
When asked by Loesch why her group is employing armed security, Lamb said, “We have armed security because other people on your side of the debate threaten our lives. I wish it weren’t the case, but it is.”

While the anti-gun group has every right to be protected by armed security some think it is quite hypocritical:

The difference between their group and the gun-rights groups is that we would fully support prosecuting those people who threaten their lives. She should make those threats public or at least file police reports so we can all see how badly they need protection.
I am willing to bet she can’t produce much in the way of evidence.

Every “anti-gun” person I’ve met has convinced me (in short order) that they would be the very first to call a person with a gun (cop, neighbor, Feds, etc. etc.) in the event they “needed” help – Virtually every scenario they face: their move is to get their way by force (Courts, laws, cops, neighborhood groups, etc. etc.). The other thing they cannot grasp; is the irony of their position.
Ha yea this reminds me of that PeeWee Bloomberg and his armed gun carrying goon squad.
