An Israeli minister has called on settlers to continue entering Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa compound and thanked security officials for making their visits possible after hundreds broke into the mosque during the final days of Ramadan.

Los Angeles has experienced a 16% increase in the homeless population over the last year, the latest sign of severe income inequality and a worsening housing crisis plaguing California.

George Nader, a Lebanese-American businessman and lobbyist who serves as an adviser to the crown prince of Abu Dhabi, has been arrested for possessing child pornography, the US Department of Justice announced.

The leader and self-proclaimed apostle of La Luz del Mundo, a Mexico-based church with branches in the US that claims more than 1 million followers, has been charged with human trafficking and child rape.
Joaquín García and a follower of the church, 24-year-old Susana Medina Oaxaca, were arrested on Monday after landing at Los Angeles international airport, the office of California’s attorney general, Xavier Becerra, said.
