As far as survival tools go, you really can’t get much better than trees. Obviously, there’s the fact that they’re a major source of oxygen. As if supplying humans with the element they need to keep breathing isn’t enough, trees are also generous with providing food, shelter, and even raw materials for making tools. On a practical note, trees can help you mark the passing of time in a survival situation. You may not know exactly what day it is, but you can get an idea of what season it is based on the leaves of trees. As a habitat for different animal species, they also encourage biodiversity. Of course, some trees are better than others, depending on the situation you’re in. Here are 10 North America trees that are good for helping human survival, according to AskaPrepper.com:   Continue reading “10 North American trees every survivalist should know”

Gun Watch – by Dean Weingarten

The image [below] is of the 73 firearms turned in on the 30th of June, 2018, in Montgomery, Alabama.  While there are many inexpensive firearms on the table, there are some classic and expensive collector items as well.

I see a Hi Standard Model B .22, a Beretta pocket tip up model, a Smith & Wesson Victory model, and a Colt pocket auto.32.  One of the “assault weapons” is a Mossberg 715T, which is an straight blowback Mossberg .22, dressed in a plastic shell to make it look like an AR15 clone.    Continue reading “Gun Turn-in Montgomery Alabama: Trash and Treasures Turned In at “buyback””

Well, in case you were wondering if Sacha Baron Cohen’s still got it, the comedian’s new Trump-skewering Showtime series, which appears to be titled Who Is America?just dropped a new promo in which his (still as-yet unseen) journalist character asks former vice-president Dick Cheney to sign a waterboarding kit, which Cheney does with a smile.

Now why, in this year of our Lord, in this time in American politics, after more than two decades of faux political comedy shows humiliating their interviewees, would Dick Cheney agree to jokingly sign a waterboard kit in front of a television camera?  Continue reading “Dick Cheney Signs a Waterboarding Kit in a New Promo for Sacha Baron Cohen’s Showtime Show”

We all think we can defend ourselves with a handgun of choice, as though we won’t panic. It’s as if we will have a cool head, muscle memory, clear thinking, and a steady hand.  But when it comes to possibly taking another’s life, there usually isn’t time for deliberation. The most important decision you will make is how you prepare, practice, and train yourself prior to an event ever happening. Listed below are some interesting and helpful drills meant to aid you in staying battle ready in the case such an event occurs.  Continue reading “Staying Battle Ready With Your Handgun”

A Florida man who tussled with a cop trying to arrest him for disorderly conduct later said that he “really enjoyed resisting” because it was like being on “Live PD,” a cable program that chronicles the mayhem police officers encounter on the night shift.

A patrolman was dispatched yesterday to a home in Sebastian, a city near Vero Beach, after a 911 caller reported that a man wielding a golf club was chasing a woman.  Continue reading “Man Tells Cop He “Really Enjoyed” Resisting Arrest Because It Was Like Being On A TV Show”

The US has long sought to deny its hegemonic character while emphasizing its democratic character. It now seems all such pretense has been abandoned.

“False face must hide what the false heart doth know,” Shakespeare writes, in words that for time immemorial should have sat pride of place under the Great Seal of the United States on front of the podium whenever any president, cabinet member, congressman, or indeed any US official proclaimed their country a champion of democracy.  Continue reading “The Pentagon’s new mission statement: Neo-colonialism & hegemony unmasked”

Orthodoxy Today – by Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Solzhenitsyn penned this essay in 1974 and it circulated among Moscow’s intellectuals at the time. It is dated Feb. 12, the same day that secret police broke into his apartment and arrested him. The next day he was exiled to West Germany. The essay is a call to moral courage and serves as light to all who value truth.

At one time we dared not even to whisper. Now we write and read samizdat, and sometimes when we gather in the smoking room at the Science Institute we complain frankly to one another: What kind of tricks are they playing on us, and where are they dragging us? Gratuitous boasting of cosmic achievements while there is poverty and destruction at home. Propping up remote, uncivilized regimes. Fanning up civil war. And we recklessly fostered Mao Tse-tung at our expense—and it will be we who are sent to war against him, and will have to go. Is there any way out? And they put on trial anybody they want and they put sane people in asylums—always they, and we are powerless.   Continue reading “Live Not By Lies”

During a recent interview, fired FBI director James Comey called more gun control against the peasants, but not for the ruling class he was a part of for so long.  Comey also said the NRA propagates “lies” in order to keep Americans armed against their rulers.

“Surely there are things we can agree upon that relate to who’s able to buy a weapon, what kind of weapon and at what age, what the capabilities of the weapon are, how many rounds does it hold, and things like that, that in no way threaten the rights under the US constitution of people to keep and bear arms,” Comey said during an interview with the UK’s iNews. Except, based on the very working of the second amendment, all gun laws are “unconstitutional,” of course, the ruling class doesn’t care what they do to those underneath them.   Continue reading “James Comey Interview: More Gun Control For The Peasants”

The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency is training agents to use military-style weapons and tactical equipment and has more than doubled its arsenal of M4 assault rifles lately, according to public records.

The apparent effort by ICE to grow some extra muscle was spotted by The Young Turks YouTube channel, which reviewed ICE-related federal procurement records and reported their discoveries on Tuesday. One such contract shows that the officers of the agency’s Enforcement and Removal Operations will this year be trained in the use of assault weapons, chemical agents, stun grenades, and flash bangs at the Howell Shooting Range in Chicago area. The record says up to 160 agents may undergo the training quarterly.   Continue reading “ICE gearing up for war? US immigration agency runs assault rifle training, doubles M4 arsenal”

SHTF Plan – by Jeremiah Johnson

For several months, now, there has been a steadily growing focus on the U.S.’s implementation of increased border patrols, the creation of a permanent fence or divider on the border, and the question of illegal aliens. The president has taken a firm and unyielding stance. On June 25, AP was quoted as reporting “President Donald Trump on Sunday compared people entering the U.S. from Mexico to invaders and said they should be back without appearing before a judge.”

The president was quoted as saying, “We cannot allow all of these people to invade our country. Our immigration policy, laughed at all over the world, is very unfair to all of those people who have gone through the system legally and are waiting [in] line for years! Immigration must be based on merit – we need people who will help to Make America Great Again!”   Continue reading “The Battle for the U.S. Border, Besieged by Illegal Aliens”

Free Thought Project – by Matt Agorist

Censorship is a necessity of the police state. Peaceful ideas that oppose the status quo expose the insidious nature of the establishment and are therefore stricken from the public record. This has long been the practice of all empires and it is currently the practice in America today. Case in point: police in South Carolina are attempting to get two books in a school banned because they talk about police brutality and corruption.

The Fraternal Order of Police in Tri-County have made their case public and are demanding that Angie Thomas’s multiple award-winning novel about police brutality, The Hate U Give, on a school’s summer reading list, be banned. The union referred to the book as “almost an indoctrination of distrust of police.”   Continue reading “Police Union Calls for Banning of Books in High School Because They Mention Police Brutality”

Socialist Democrat candidate for Congress Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says the United States is currently committing “international human rights abuses” at the U.S.-Mexico border because of President Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy.

In an interview with Al Jazeera’s AJ+, Ocasio said the U.S. is currently involved in crimes against humanity by criminally prosecuting all border crossers at the southern border.  Continue reading “Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: America is Committing ‘International Human Rights Abuses’ at Border”

The former congressman Brian Baird once said that when you criticize Israel even privately to Israeli officials, they flip out on you, even if you’re a congressman; and this is the most important takeaway of the wonderful Birthright walkout that happened yesterday and that is now all over the Jewish press. A group of five young American Jewish women on their free propaganda trip to Israel kept demanding information about the occupation, and at last left the trip to join a tour of occupied Hebron by the Israeli dissident group Breaking the Silence. And the Israelis went crazy.   Continue reading “Birthright walkout is met with vitriolic rage in Israel — ‘Radicals’ ‘You will get raped’”

Mass-shooter Jarrod Ramos had several Twitter Accounts, most of which Twitter has suspended. But wading through his social media accounts, many of his Twitter Accounts were linked to each other, and at least one is still up at the present time. I don’t expect it to be up much longer after this post though, so save this stuff quick if you want it.

Two of Ramos’ accounts that were suspended by Twitter are @ judgemoylanfrnd, spoofing Judge Charles E. Moylan, Jr. and @erichartleyfrnd, Ramos main account created in 2011, which he described as a “page to defend myself.”   Continue reading “Accused Mass-Murderer Jarrod Ramos Had Several Twitter Accounts- They’ve Suspended Them All, But Missed This One.”

(Bloomberg) — Bitcoin’s meteoric rise last year had many observers calling it one of the biggest speculative manias in history. The cryptocurrency’s 2018 crash may help cement its place in the bubble record books.

Down 70 percent from its December high after sliding for a fourth straight day on Friday, Bitcoin is getting ever-closer to matching the Nasdaq Composite Index’s 78 percent peak-to-trough plunge after the U.S. dot-com bubble burst. Hundreds of other virtual coins have all but gone to zero — following the same path as Pets.com and other red-hot initial public offerings that flamed out in the early 2000s.   Continue reading “Bitcoin Bloodbath Nears Dot-Com Levels as Many Tokens Go to Zero”
