Gov. John Carney, on June 27, signed House Substitute 1 for House Bill 222 into law surrounded by members of the general assembly of both parties, law enforcement and advocates for gun safety.

This legislation, sponsored by Rep. David Bentz, allows a court to issue a lethal violence protection order in cases where a family member or law enforcement officer can show that the respondent poses a danger to self or others by owning, possessing, controlling, purchasing or receiving a firearm.   Continue reading “Delaware Governor Carney Signs “Red Flag” Legislation”

Congresswoman Maxine Waters – who earlier this week urged her supporters to accost members of the Trump administration at restaurants and other public venues – has been forced to cancel a pair of public events after receiving a “very serious death threat.” The Congresswoman told CNN on Thursday that she’s seen an increase in threats since she made the controversial comments.

Waters canceled appearances in Alabama and Texas this week after receiving “threatening messages” and “hostile mail” at her office, including “one very serious death threat” from an individual from Texas.   Continue reading “Maxine Waters Cancels Events Following “Very Serious” Death Threats”

A group of student activists at the University of Chicago are demanding that the campus police be disarmed, saying in a list of demands that “the availability of firearms and tasers has repeatedly led to the excessive use of violence against individuals.”

At a recent protest, they held signs declaring “UofC kills.”   Continue reading “University of Chicago students demand campus police be disarmed”

“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.”—Thomas Paine, December 1776

Imagine living in a country where armed soldiers crash through doors to arrest and imprison citizens merely for criticizing government officials.   Continue reading “The Danger Is Real: We Need a New Declaration of Independence for Modern Times”

If Presidents Trump and Putin do meet sometime in July in Europe (a July 15 meeting in Austria is under negotiation), one certain topic for discussion and negotiation will be Syria and the ongoing threat of a war between Israel and Iran.

While I am told that there is no agreement at present between the US and Russia, the elements of a deal are clearly being pursued.  Consider the following developments over the past several days: Over the weekend of 23-24 June, Russian planes began providing air support to Syrian Arab Army forces moving to take back territory south of Damascus. Russia has been pressing Iran and Hezbollah to stay out of southern Syria, to avert continuing Israeli air strikes there.

It’s not just Trump who is concerned about the level of the S&P as a result of escalating trade war with China: it appears that China is growing worried as well, and for good reason – as we noted earlier, the Shanghai Composite already tumbled to a bear market from its highs 6 months ago, a drop which comes at a very precarious time for China whose economy is slowing amid an aggressive deleveraging campaign, corporate defaults are rising, and the all important credit impulse is waning.   Continue reading “Leaked Note By Chinese Think Tank Warns Of Potential “Financial Panic””

The state of New Jersey, which is known for its strict gun laws, has tightened regulations with new legislation that gives citizens 180 days to surrender all firearms and magazines that hold more than 10 rounds —and if they are caught with the newly illegal contraband, they will be treated as criminals.

The new rules are courtesy of Assembly Bill 2761, which was recently passed by the state. The bill’s purpose is to reduce “maximum capacity of ammunition magazines to 10 rounds,” and the text states that citizens will have 180 days to comply:  Continue reading “State Bans Guns That Hold More Than 10 Rounds, Citizens Told To Surrender Them or Become Criminals”

HARLINGEN, Tex. — The business of housing, transporting and watching over migrant children detained along the southwest border is not a multimillion-dollar business.

It’s a billion-dollar one.

The nonprofit Southwest Key Programs has won at least $955 million in federal contracts since 2015 to run shelters and provide other services to immigrant children in federal custody. Its shelter for migrant boys at a former Walmart Supercenter in South Texas has been the focus of nationwide scrutiny, but Southwest Key is but one player in the lucrative, secretive world of the migrant-shelter business. About a dozen contractors operate more than 30 facilities in Texas alone, with numerous others contracted for about 100 shelters in 16 other states.

A report published this month found civilians in the United States own almost 400 million guns, outpacing every other civilian population, police, or military force in the world.

The Small Arms Survey estimates there are 393,300,000 civilian-owned firearms in the United States. The survey, performed by the Graduate Institute of Geneva, estimated the United States military has about 4.5 million firearms. It put the number of firearms owned by police throughout the United States at just over 1 million.   Continue reading “Report: Nearly 400 Million Civilian-Owned Guns in America”

As the old adage goes, where there is smoke, there is fire. This week, a man attending a rally for President Trump in Minnesota held up a sign with a photo of Trump, and one of his close friends from the past, convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein—and Trump’s reaction is incredibly notable.

The image, which included the caption “Where is Jeffrey Epstein?” was apparently too offensive for Trump who told security to “Get him outta here. Go home to your mom darling, go home. Get him outta here. Out!”  Continue reading “Trump Melts Down as Man Holds Up Photo of Him and Billionaire Pedophile Epstein at Rally”

Adding to the mountain of evidence that “oil trains are a disaster for our health, our safety, and our climate”—an argument environmentalists have been making for years—a 31-car freight train derailed in Iowa and started leaking crude oil into floodwaters on Friday morning, forcing evacuations of nearby homes and raising concerns about drinking water contamination.

The Sioux County Sheriff posted a video depicting the aftermath of the derailment near Doon on Facebook:   Continue reading “‘We Don’t Know… How Bad It Is’: 31-Car Oil Train Derails Into Iowa Floodwaters”

Consider the columns of young men marching into Europe from Syria. Or the people thrown against the Gazan border in a foolish exercise this spring. (Dozens died.) Or the effort in Mexico to march a column of “refugees” through the country to the border to create a giant photo-op. (The effort failed spectacularly.) The tactic Mr. Obrador suggests is not a unique one.

The idea is to overwhelm the (in this case the US) system and then to blast through a front.  Continue reading “Mexican presidential candidate Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) called for mass immigration to the United States during a speech Thursday”

Israeli occupation authorities have demolished and sealed 48 houses belonging to Palestinians under the pretext that one of their residents carried out attacks against Israeli targets, a new report revealed.

The Abdullah Al-Hourani Centre for Studies and Documentation said in a report yesterday that occupation forces demolished 43 houses on charges that one of their residents had carried out resistance operations against Israeli targets and sealed five houses with reinforced concrete.   Continue reading “Report: Israel demolished, sealed 48 homes of resistance fighters”

A farm bill that opponents say would harm endangered species, land conservation efforts, small-scale farmers and food-stamp recipients passed the U.S. House of Representatives 213 to 211, with every House Democrat and 20 Republicans voting against it, The Center for Biological Diversity reported.

President Donald Trump’s executive order which modifies his “zero tolerance” policy at the United States-Mexico border has left Democrats and the open borders lobby fighting for an end to all border enforcement, inviting floods of illegal immigration and cheap foreign labor into the country.

The zero-tolerance policy mandates that all illegal border crossers — including illegal alien adults who cross the border with children — be prosecuted and eventually deported from the U.S. This policy results in border-crossing parents having their children taken into federal custody. This is a loophole known as the Flores Settlement Agreement.   Continue reading “Nancy Pelosi Demands Zero Border Enforcement: Detention of Illegal Aliens Is ‘Form of Child Abuse’”

The latest example of Big Pharma taking over the media is the purchase of the Los Angeles Times and the San Diego Tribune for $500 million by Big Pharma billionaire Dr. Patrick Soon-Shiong. Instead of paying for advertisements, pharma billionaires have decided to just buy the publications outright so they can control the entire publication. All the journalists here are now officially bought; these publications should officially be recognized as propaganda rags from now on.   Continue reading “Big Pharma vaccine billionaire just bought the LA Times… yet another example of the media being run by pharma”

Politicians—who claim to be for limited government and free markets—are engaging in an insidious plot to seize homes from families and give them to the Taiwanese manufacturing giant Foxconn. Not surprisingly, the plot is being hypocritically championed by those who claim to be for ‘small government,’ like President Donald Trump, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and Paul Ryan.

The factory will be used to manufacture LCD screens for iPhones, iPads, and other electronic devices. It’s being sold to the population as a means of creating jobs, but it’s hardly going to register as a blip on the job market especially considering the billion dollar endeavor that it will take to create it.   Continue reading “‘Small Gov’t’ Politicians Stealing Homes from US Families to Give Foxconn a Factory to Make iPhones”
