WASHINGTON – D.C. Police kick off a weekend initiative to fight summer crime called “All Hands On Deck.”

That means more officers will be stationed on city streets requiring all of them to work eight hour shifts.

This doesn’t come without controversy.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman lashed out at the hundreds of Israeli Arab demonstrators who clashed with police at Umm el-Fahm junction on Friday during a protest against IDF efforts to track down three kidnapped teenagers in the West Bank.

When one thinks of “redistribution of wealth,” one would typically understand that to mean a system designed to take from the wealthy and give to the poor. Controversial in its own right. Only yesterday came news that Syrian rebels plan to give Israel the Golan Heights in exchange for creation of a no-fly zone against the Assad regime. In an even bolder move, it is now revealed, Israel will withdraw its settlers from communities beyond the settlement blocs—and relocate them at least temporarily to Ukraine. Ukraine made this arrangement on the basis of historic ties and in exchange for desperately needed military assistance against Russia. Immigration of the 1950s

 In the United States, Operation Wetback was enacted in the 1950s by immigration and Naturalization service. The effects of World War 2 caused a massive exodus of Mexican migrants into the U.S through the Rio Grande, into the Southwest part of the United States, to work as farm hands .  It was characterized by massive exploitation, and abuse of Mexican farm workers, by southwest farmers, law enforcement and Immigration agents.  Due to the massive abuse, the Mexican government, in response, in conjunction with the United States enacted a treaty to protect migrant Mexican bracero worker rights (Koestler.
