American Everyman – by Scott Creighton
Thanks to their own policies and behavior, relations between Israel and the rest of the civilized world are at an all-time low, so much so, Washington is having to distance themselves from the criminal apartheid state… just a little. We have already covered that.
Interestingly, a “liberal” Israeli paper recently published a cartoon depicting Netanyahu as the pilot of a airliner targeting one of the Twin Towers with a big smile on his face.
Incendiary? I would say so. But according to his statement, the artist who drew it didn’t understand how personally we Americans take jokes about 9/11 from pissed off Likudnik Zionists. Especially those of us who remember the Dancing Israelis.
As offensive as that little backhanded threat might seem, there’s been another one of a more personal nature possibly directed at the president himself.
Check this out:
“What’s surprising is how Netanyahu, in a speech to the Knesset, took the opportunity to answer his critics in the Obama administration: “Netanyahu angrily insisted he was ‘under attack simply for defending Israel,’ adding that he ‘cherished’ Israel’s relationship with the US.”
The famously combative Israeli Prime Minister went on to say:
“When there are pressures on Israel to concede its security, the easiest thing to do is to concede. You get a round of applause, ceremonies on grassy knolls, and then come the missiles and the tunnels.” Raimondo on Netanyahu
So here is Bibi, bring up the “grassy knoll” while discussing his anger toward Obama over his insistence that Bibi concede some of the Palestinian land stolen under his watch. I suppose they will use the same argument, that Bibi and his speech writers didn’t know us Goyim Americans actually remember JFK.
You see, that was a speech he delivered. Someone wrote that and they damn sure understood the implications in the States of buzz-words like “the grassy knoll” or at least the hidden message that they figured only the elites in America would understand.
Let’s not forget, Israel is our only ally, our “special” friend, to have recently attacked our military forces – U.S.S. Liberty.
You combine 9/11 references and “grassy knoll” innuendo and what do you get? Is our special friend sending American intelligentsia an unmistakable message? How many “grassy knoll” references has Bibi ever made in the past? How many cartoons has that artist drawn depicting someone flying planes into the Twin Towers? And it happens now? Both of those little faux pas?
Uh… no. That’s not a coincidence either.

both look like threats to me. -Dot
Not so quite so ‘veiled’ even, as they say.
“You combine 9/11 references and “grassy knoll” innuendo and what do you get?”
It was my understanding that Israel had a hand in the JFK assassination because Kennedy was determined NOT to let them become a nuclear power. So, yes, these points of “911 references” and “grassy knoll” innuendo do have relativity. I just don’t see Bibi wanting to further implicate Israel in either of these events… the U.S.S. Liberty was enough.
