Here are a couple of pics I took last night from Northern California.
The moon can never get to the color of blood.
The ‘Blood Moon’ refers to the extra moon light in the fall after the
harvest moon to slaughter animals for winter food.

My camera sucked and I couldn’t get a good shot. My neighbor had a rifle scope though and we were able to get a really good view of the blood moon through it.
