I keep getting this message when sending a comment in. It says “something caused Internet Explorer to close, do you want to re-open? When you punch in “Yes” it restores Internet Explorer but it erases the comment you spent time trying to share. I can’t tell you how many comments of mine they’ve erased in the past week.
I thought it was on my end. Now, I don’t know what to think. Is anyone else having this problem? Just curious and trying to resolve this. It’s very frustrating to work on a comment and then lose it.
STOP USING INTERNET EXPLORER PEOPLE!!!! Use firefox if you can and install the no-script add-on. This will help with some of the problem. If you can’t run firefox then you will have to find an add blocker that will block the script that is causing internet explorer to crash. It is not the website persay it is internet explorer. I use firefox and have NEVER had a problem posting to this site.
I use Firefox, and will NEVER use Internet Exploder…er, Explorer…
well i was going to come on here and say whats already been said
sooooo nuff said ?
Yeah dammit, it looks like I’m going to have to “bite the bullet” and make the change. I have Mozilla Firefox but I’m just accustom to the IE.
Hey Millard. Do it!! You won’t regret it. I switched to Firefox years ago, and it’s smooth. 🙂
Always save (as in copy or cut/paste options – right click on mouse etc) all long comments before submit. Best defense you have with any browser.
many times on FTT I forget to or simply typo the math equations – ugh
Probably not the best choice, but I like, and use, Chrome. No problems here.
. . .
Chrome is spyware,
if you like it then use the “sanitized” version.

When downloading Firefox will it erase the things already installed on my computer? I am soooo computer illiterate!
