It never dawned on me to examine the name Eisenhower, probably because of a lifetime of propaganda. My German grandfather made no mention of this even though grandpa and the jews definitely were at odds. This audio makes allot of sense, worth the listen.

I’ve actually met a couple of Germans involved with the German military in that time; one was my college math professor–a wonderful man who passed recently–who was anything but a Nazi. He’s the first one who told me about how the POWs were treated, and then another friend who went over on D-Day and stayed in Germany several years (marrying a German lady) told me pretty much the same about torture of German POWs.
And to post this today is appropriate considering isn’t June 8 the day Israel tried to sink the Liberty?
