With the world particularly sensitive to any news involving stray and/or missing Boeing 777 airplanes, especially if said massive stray airplane is heading toward the Nuclear security summit taking place at the Hague, it is no surprise that the news which appeared about an hour ago that two Dutch F-16s were scrambled to intercept a unresponsive Boeing 777 in Dutch airspace, received such a prompt response.   Continue reading “Two Dutch F-16s Scrambled To Intercept Unidentified Boeing 777”

It seems the words of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warning that “the world stands on the brink of conflict, the consequences of which are not foreseen… Not everyone in Europe is aware of this situation,” are a little more real than some (US equity buyers) might suspect. As The Week’s Crispin Black reportsat least 7,000 Polish workers in Europe have received call-up papers as army reservists in the last few weeks. Polish authorities dismiss it as “routine” but the men note this has never happened before.   Continue reading “Poland Is Quietly Mobilizing Its Army Reservists”

The Tomahawk missile program—known as “the world’s most advanced cruise missile”—is set to be cut by $128 million under Obama’s fiscal year 2015 budget proposal and completely eliminated by fiscal year 2016, according to budget documents released by the Navy.   Continue reading “Obama to Kill Tomahawk, Hellfire Missile Programs”

The Death of AmericaThe Common Sense Show – by Dave Hodges

Every journalist, if they write long enough, will experience the “I told you so” experience. Many who have written about the travails of President Obama must experience this feeling on a near-daily basis. This man has had his finger in seemingly every pie that has served to degrade the lives of all middle class Americans. Rather than run through the litany of transgressions, please allow me to ask you one question:

Can you name even on legitimate thing that Obama has done which has served to improve the status of the American people?   Continue reading “Putin, Xi Jinping and Obama Are Tightening the Noose Around America’s Neck”

PalladiumSovereign Man – by Tim Staermose

Palladium is like the Rodney Dangerfield of precious metals. It never gets any respect.

If you ask someone about precious metals, in fact, just about everyone has heard of gold and silver. And occasionally platinum.

But palladium is one of those obscure precious metals that few people think about, or even know about.   Continue reading “Guess which precious metal is controlled by the Russians…”

Michael TellingerReal Currencies – by Anthony Migchels

Michael Tellinger is a scientist and activist from South Africa. As a scientist he has brought an ancient, vast and interconnected network of stone circle constructions to the attention of the world. There are millions of them, all over southern Africa and they show advanced knowledge of sacred geometry. He theorizes they were part of a huge infrastructure for energy creation based on hypersound. He has linked them to other ancient structures, including the Pyramids.   Continue reading “Interviewing Michael Tellinger”

The Texas Attorney General’s Office has dispatched investigators and staff from its Environmental Protection Division to the Galveston Bay oil spill site.

In response to the spill, Attorney General Greg Abbott on Monday said, in part: “The damage inflicted by this spill is a blow to small businesses, fishing, recreation, and the overall economy – but its ripple effects will be felt much wider. While emergency workers race to get the spill contained and cleaned, the attorney general’s office will assist with the coordinated state response and has opened a civil investigation into this disaster.   Continue reading “Around Galveston Bay: oil spill updates”

Fox Promotes KXL Pipeline With Galveston SpillMedia Matters – by CRAIG HARRINGTON

Fox Business personalities seized on reports of an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico to push for approval of Keystone XL, ignoring the fact that the pipeline could lead to increased risk of spills near the Gulf Coast.

On March 23, Reuters reported that cleanup crews had quarantined a portion of the heavily trafficked Houston Ship Channel in response to a significant oil spill. The spill, estimated to be roughly 4,000 barrels (or 168,000 gallons), began after a tanker vessel carrying heavy fuel oil collided with a cargo ship in Galveston Bay, an estuary connected to the Gulf of Mexico.   Continue reading “Fox Uses Galveston Bay Oil Spill To Push For Keystone XL Pipeline”

The Windows XPocalypse is almost upon us. After a legendary dozen year run, Microsoft will stop providing security patches for Windows XP on April 8, 2014. Without Microsoft’s protection, all those WinXP PCs will have targets painted on their hard drives.

Nearly 30 percent of Internet-connected PCs still run Windows XP, and no, they won’t die that day. They’ll continue running like normal, but they’ll be rotting inside, becoming increasingly full of security holes. Microsoft itself has dubbed the condition “Zero day forever.”   Continue reading “How to keep your PC secure when Microsoft ends Windows XP support”
