President Obama on Thursday signed an executive order to create a Task Force on 21st Century Policing. The panel will be co-chaired by Philadelphia police commissioner Charles H. Ramsey and Laurie Robinson, a professor at George Mason University and former U.S. assistant attorney general, and Ronald Davis, who heads up the Justice Departments Community Oriented Policing Services office, will serve as executive director. Fighters for a Free North Korea, run by Park Sang Hak, a former government propagandist who escaped to South Korea, has for years used balloons to get transistor radios, DVDs and other items into North Korea — not to entertain the deprived masses, but to introduce them to the outside world. Regarding the threats of bombings of theaters if the film was shown, Obama has been personally encouraging people to “go the movies” anyway, while hardliners like Mitt Romney have specifically encouraged people to go see The Interview. An elderly couple in Alexandra, New Zealand, almost died after thinking they were trapped in their new ”keyless” Mazda 3.
Brian and Mollieanne Smith spent almost 13 hours in their car unaware they could have left at any time.

MCALLEN, Texas — A massive gas explosion and fire south of the Texas border forced Tamaulipas authorities to scramble firefighters and emergency personnel. Unlike previous explosions, no injuries have been reported.
The explosion took place Wednesday afternoon near the rural city of San Fernando in the area called Nejo well #57, the Tamaulipas government said in a prepared statement issued to Breitbart Texas. Former lawyer and ex-judge Eric Williams, who was accused of the brutal murders of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland, his wife, and an assistant prosecutor, was sentenced to death by a jury on December 17.
Texas Lawyer reported that the 47-year-old Williams had been convicted on December 4 of the capital murder of Cynthia McLelland, who, along with her husband, was shot repeatedly inside their Forney home, located east of Dallas, on March 30, 2013. AUSTIN, Texas — After Sony Pictures Entertainment cancelled the release of their movie The Interview, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema had announced plans to swap the film with a free showing of Team America: World Police, released by Paramount Pictures in 2004, but now Paramount is ordering the theater not to show that film either.
Both films are comedies that pit American characters facing off against a satirical portrayal of a North Korean leader. The Interview features Seth Rogen and James Franco as two characters who are hired to assassinate current North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un. Team America, co-written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, had singing marionette characters representing an American anti-terrorism task force fighting Kim Jong Il, Kim Jong Un’s now-deceased father. The North Korean government had expressed outrage at both films, and had sought — unsuccessfully — to have Team America banned in other countries.
