Saudi Arabia is next in the crosshairs of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS), according to one Washington DC think tank.

As the Ukraine crisis continues, violence isn’t limited to the streets. A number of top Ukrainian officials have died under mysterious circumstances during one 34-day period, leading many to suspect foul play.

HOUSTON — The Republic of Texas is unlike any other volunteer organization in what used to be the Republic of Texas.

Its monthly meetings are called joint sessions of congress. Members have minted their own silver and gold currency and carry ID cards warning police officers they are diplomatic representatives of the nation of Texas. We are living through a time that will go down in the history books as one of epic economic turmoil. Instead of three economic groups (Rich, Middle Class, and Poor) we are quickly dividing into two groups: richer and poorer. If you dutifully go to work and punch the clock, then come home and pay your bills, you’ll end up with little to show for it but indentured servitude to “the system.”  If your kids go into debt to attend college, they will very likely come out unable to find a job that will allow them to do more than pay off their student loans. “Success” is becoming as ephemeral as fog for people those who play the game of life by the former rules.  It’s time to change your strategy to emphasize creating cash flow over savings if you want to weather this crisis.   Continue reading “Rich Dad: How to Create Financial Freedom in a World That Would Make You a Debt Slave”

Buckeye, AZ –-(Ammoland.com)- A workshop titled “Covering Gun Violence” is being offered in Phoenix by the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma to “help journalists and news organizations in the Southwest improve their reporting on guns and gun violence.”

The number of Americans who live in a household with at least one gun is lower than it’s ever been, according to a major American trend survey that finds the decline in gun ownership is paralleled by a reduction in the number of Americans who hunt.

According to the latest General Social Survey, 32 percent of Americans either own a firearm themselves or live with someone who does, which ties a record low set in 2010. WASHINGTON — Thousands of troops and major hardware from the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division are heading to the Baltic region to reassure NATO allies fearful of Russian aggression, according to the Pentagon.

Approximately 3,000 soldiers from the division’s 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team are bringing approximately 750 vehicles and pieces of heavy equipment with them, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery pieces and helicopters. Just 12 hours after he got an experimental Ebola vaccine, and just two days after he stuck himself with a needle while caring for Ebola patients in September, Dr. Lewis Rubinson started getting sick.

By then, Rubinson was aboard a jet, being evacuated from Sierra Leone to the United States. He wasn’t sure if he was infected with Ebola or if the vaccine was causing a reaction. ISLAMABAD (AP) — More than 40 million people in Pakistan do not have access to a toilet, forcing them to defecate in the open, which in turn is a major contributor to stunting in the country, a top UNICEF official said.

“There are 41 million people who do not have access to a toilet in Pakistan and as a result they are defecating in the open. And open defecation has significant health and nutritional consequences,” said Geeta Rao Gupta, deputy executive director at UNICEF.
