Freddie Gray Van Driver Found Not Guilty of Murder

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Office Caesar Goodson, who was driving the police van inside which Freddie Gray incurred his fatal neck injury, has been found not guilty of second-degree “depraved heart” murder Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Barry Williams.

Goodson, 46, has also been found not guilty on charges of manslaughter, assault, misconduct in office and reckless endangerment.

Gray, a 25-year-old black man from the Sandtown area of Baltimore, died of his injury on April 19, 2015. A week earlier, Baltimore City police officers put him in the back of Goodson’s van, handcuffed and shackled, but unrestrained by a seat belt.

His death set off more than a week of protests followed by looting, rioting and arson that prompted a citywide curfew.

Goodson is one of six officers charged in relation to Gray’s death, and the third to be tried. Officer William Porter’s trial ended in a hung jury and mistrial in December, and Officer Edward Nero was found not guilty on all charges in May.

Porter will be retried in September.

Three other officers — Officer Garrett Miller, Lt. Brian Rice and Sgt. Alicia White — have not yet been tried.

  1. The pattern is always the same. Whenever the pigs murder someone and there’s a public outcry, the mayor, the chief of pigs, and others always tell everyone to remain peaceful, to avoid jumping to conclusions, and to let the investigation and legal process run its course. Later, when the initial public anger has died down and the whitewash is complete, the pigs are either acquitted or given a slap on the wrist.

  2. you know dam well he waived his right to a Jury trial because he knew,We the People would have hanged him.. but the Judge has agenda to not prosecute a cop.. one of his own protection team , so we get this as the out come

until the People start Judging these thugs on a one by one as they come process and deal with it as they come on the street , nothing is going to happen to these thugs in uniform ,, our own Judicial system is not for we the people ..

  3. Ok since none of you actually Live in Maryland let alone around Baltimore I may just have a better take on this subject, because I do… The Mayor is a Communist, the prosecuting Attorney is a Communist, and Freddie Gray had a rap sheet longer then my arm! Plus before he actually was arrested the drug dealer (Freddie Gray) was on the street applying his “trade” with broken bones in his back. KEEP IN MIND THIS IS A CESSPOOL CITY THAT NAMES COMMUNITY CENTERS AFTER DRUG LORDS. (No joke!) There are many cops in the city that actually are Good Cops trying to save(in vane) whats left of what used to be decent place to live. Many don’t live in the city just work there because its too dangerous. The Corruption in Baltimore is insane! The politicians are liberal Communist, the “community” leaders are Communist, Gang leaders/drug lords/black mafia types run the place and send $$$$ up the ladder to the above groups. The riots were started by the Gang leaders/drug lords/black mafia types to “remind” the political arm who’s in charge, after witch the Mayor cut a check to the family of Drug dealer Freddie for over 6 million dollars from the city treasury before any of the cops went on trial! (Think of it like a tribute pay out.) I could go on in detail about this …..but whats the point.

    1. I do not doubt one thing you said, but Freddie Gray was taken into custody and killed. That is what we call a violation of right and nothing can justify it. You would dismiss his right to his life. Make sure you understand that when you do, you dismiss your own. There is no excuse good enough for an American national of any pigment of skin to have his f#@king neck broke while in custody and no one is held responsible.
The condition of Maryland is the fault of the people who live there because they allow it because they have compromised their morality through their worship of mammon.
Freddie Gray was a product of his environment, a shit environment that produced the low-life, but either he had his rights or he didn’t. And again there is no acceptable reason for the removal of rights without due process of the law as described in our people’s Bill of Rights. His rights are my rights are your rights. And again, he had his neck broken while in custody. If they can do it to him, they can do it to you and they can do it to me. Unacceptable.

    2. If this man was your biological brother, you’d be singing a different tune. Rap sheet as long as your arm? Nice try. So does that toilet bug Hillary Clinton. They suck her commie ass.
