BUNKERVILLE (KSNV MyNews3.com) — A Georgia minister has thrust himself into the Bundy controversy.
Minister Derrick Grayson held a joint news conference Sunday afternoon with embattled rancher Cliven Bundy.
Much of it centered on what he called “the tyrannical government” and its unlimited reach. Grayson is also a Republican candidate running for a U.S. Senate seat.
The two also talked about race, blaming the media for hyping up comments Bundy made that many called racist.
Bundy said he didn’t ask the candidate to come down, but he says he welcomed him as they talked for nearly two hours.
