Nebraska W.C.T.V. Begins a Crusade Against High School Cadets.
Lincoln, Neb., Aug. 31.–The Woman’s Christian temperance union of Nebraska has determined to have arms removed from the high school cadets of the public schools. The ladies declare the young men of the state should be taught peaceful methods, such as arbitration, etc. The women arranged for a vigorous campaign to be conducted on these lines. The high school boys of Lincoln, Omaha, Beatrice and other large towns of the state now have cadet companies, officered by a lieutenant of the regular army, detailed for the purpose of instruction. The cadets are said to be quite proficient, and, in case of emergency might be depended upon to do excellent military duty. The W.C.T.U. of Nebraska is determined that they shall be taught nothing in the schools that is not Biblical teachings, and they insist this is all included in the advice of the Nazarine, who declared that when smitten on one cheek the other should be exposed.

Ah, sorry ladies, but that isn’t all that “the Nararine” had stated. To Wit:

There’s nothing, “Christian” about this group at all.
Just another progressive entity in sheep’s clothing.
They call this, “sheep dipped”
Kinda like the national association of socialist colored
people, (naacp) and the southern socialist poverty for
everyone, (splc), and the list goes on.
All hiding behind a name that’s supposed to reflect a,
“just” cause, but in reality, just another hate group
in disguise.Their actions expose them for who they
really are.Just as with those ministries who,
“merchandize” Christianity.
There’s a special place for them in the next realm.
Mainline Christian churches have been hijacked for decades. One of the main reasons I began attending the church I do now, is because they are not a 501c3 church.
Another reason is because everyone is encouraged to bring their own Bibles, and read the Sciptures along with the pastor. Nothing unscriptural is ever taught in that church.
The third reason is because the pastor only reads from the KJV, which is also the only one I read from anymore. All the ‘New Age’ versions are corrupted, they all have copyrights and garner royalties.
