Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad contended that he’s merely exercising his right to free speech for questioning the number of victims of the Holocaust, a stance widely accepted as anti-semitic, in response to a question from the floor at Columbia University’s World Leaders Forum in New York on Wednesday.
Dr Mahathir, who is in town for the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, also recalled that a journalist had been jailed for disputing the numbers.

The holocaust is a sham. The facts, and science proves it’s a lie. It’s been admitted by jews themselves that it’s a trick they use. Why is it people can openly criticize christianity, islam, buddhism, etc, but jews and the holocaust are off limits? Because it’s they who are attacking our rights, liberties and independence. When speech of any kind is stifled its counterproductive. It doesn’t allow facts and truth to be learned. Also, how is it that there are more and more generations of holocaust survivors or their grandchildren? Something doesn’t add up does it?
