For the second summer in a row, a device designed to cool off visitors to the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp site in Poland has been criticized for its “insensitive” similarity to Nazi gas chambers.
The misting spray was set up in a municipal car park near the somber tourist attraction and caught the attention of an Israeli rabbi from the illegal settlement of Gush Etzion, who posted photos of the rig on Facebook and expressed his shock.
“I don’t know about you, but I don’t feel comfortable going into a shower at the entrance to an extermination camp,” Rafi Ostroff wrote on Facebook. “They apparently had good intentions in the face of the extreme heat, but what about a little sensitivity.”
Apparently, those who installed the shower forgot about last year’s controversy when the museum installed similarly“insensitive” sprinklers outside the museum.
These were not installed by the Museum and they were not installed at the Museum.

In 2015, site officials denied the comparisons to gas chambers, insisting the summer heat in Poland was difficult for some tourists coming from colder climates.

Those statements are provable lies. The vast majority of the less than 283,000 people who died in ALL German internment camps died of typhus and malnutrition/starvation, primarily due to the Allied bombing of German supply lines that fed the camps. Of these less than 283,000, the majority who died were OTJ (other than Jews). NO ONE was gassed at any internment camps; the building at Auschwitz where the internees were supposed to have been gassed has been shown to be unsuitable for gas containment (or people containment, for that matter – the door to the building was of poor wood quality) or post-operation venting, meaning anyone outside the building would have been contaminated by the escaping vapors.
There is too much evidence that the whole “6 million Jews were killed by the Nazis” propaganda was used by the Zionists to garner sympathy for the Jews, and to facilitate the theft of the land of Palestine from it’s rightful owners.
Anyone who disagrees should take the blinders off their eyes and do a hour or three of research.
