I’m sure he’ll squeeze in a few more destinations before he leaves office.
BOSTON (CBS) – President Obama and the First Family have arrived on Martha’s Vineyard for their final presidential getaway on Martha’s Vineyard.
The Obamas departed around 1 p.m. according to a White House pool report and arrived at the Cape Cod Coast Guard Air Station about an hour later.
President and Michelle Obama chatted with service members and families at the air station before boarding the Marine One helicopter for the short ride to Martha’s Vineyard.
Malia and Sasha made the trip with their parents, along with First Dogs Bo and Sunny.
The family has made Martha’s Vineyard their annual vacation destination. This summer the Obamas will spend nearly three weeks on the island.
Perhaps a side junket to Chappaquiddick…who knows?
“When he leaves office” is a key phrase. Most people know when he’s supposed to but, no one knows when he will actually leave…me? I have my doubts…
