Overwhelming Majority of Americans Believe that Both Parties Are Too Corrupt to Change Anything … “This, In Fact, Is A Revolution”

Why Americans Are Backing Trump and Sanders Over the Mainstream Candidates Backed By the Political Machines

We’ve previously noted that polls show that Americans are in a “pre-revolutionary” mood, that less than 1 in 5 Americans think that the government has the “consent of the governed”, that government corruption tops the list of Americans’ fears, and that 3 times as many Americans supported King George during the Revolutionary War than support our OWN Congress today.

You might assume that such statements are over-the-top … or that the results come from partisan pollsters.

But a  group of Republican and Democratic pollsters and political strategists reviewed polling data last week, and revealed some stunning results:

  • 84% of all Americans believe political leaders are more interested in protecting their power and privilege than doing what is right
  • 81% percent believe the power of ordinary people to control our country is getting weaker every day as politicians of both parties fight to protect their own power and privilege
  • 80% believe the federal government is its own special interest primarily looking out for itself
  • 79% of all voters believe we need to recruit and support more candidates for office, at all levels of government, who are ordinary citizens, rather than professional politicians and lawyers
  • 78% believe that the Democratic and Republican Parties are essentially useless in changing anything, because both political parties are too beholden to special interests to create any meaningful change
  • 76% of Americans agree with the statement that America cannot succeed unless we take on and defeat the corruption and crony capitalism in our government
  • 75% believe that the US government is NOT working for the people’s best interest
  • 75% believe that powerful interests have used campaign and lobbying money to rig the system for themselves
  • 74% see the biased and slanted coverage of the media as part of the problem
  • 72% of Americans believe the U.S. has a two-track economy, where most Americans struggle every day, where good jobs are hard to find, and where huge corporations get all the rewards
  • 72% believe that the reason families in our middle class have not seen their economic condition improve for decades and economic growth is stalled is because of corruption and crony capitalism in Washington
  • 71% believe our government is not only dysfunctional, it is collapsing right before our eyes
  • 70% believe the government in Washington does not govern with the consent of the people
  • The majority – 56% – say they wish there were a third party with a chance of success to fight for their interests
  • Only 15% say the “values and principals of my political party are so important that I strongly prefer to vote for the candidates of my party…”

They concluded:

The country [is] in a prerevolutionary moment.

This election could mark the beginning of the end of two-party duopoly in the United States.

The people believe the real struggle for America is not between Democrats and Republicans, but between mainstream America and the ruling political elites of incumbent politicians, lobbyists, big business, big unions, big banks, big special interests and the big media.

The power elite asks, “When will this be over?” Although this is seen as a chaotic and temporary situation by most of the political and media establishment, our research shows a strong, evolving tidal wave of discontent and growing pressure for real and dramatic change.

Real change is what that the establishment fears most and fights hardest against. It is ultimately a losing battle.

This, in fact, is a revolution.

  2. Sentiment among the proles has been shifting in the right direction, but there’s still a long way to go:

    1. The popularity of Trump and Sanders demonstrates that lots of Americans are being suckered by “Hope and Change 2.0.”

    2. Americans claim to hate Congress and most other politicians, but they never tire of butt-smooching anyone who, in exchange for a paycheck and the promise of early retirement with a cushy pension, puts on a uniform (police or military) and bears arms in service to those politicians. Does it make any sense to hate politicians while sucking up to those who volunteer to kill on behalf of those politicians?

    3. How many Americans give a hoot about the Bill of Rights anymore? How many are demanding that Ed Snowden and other heroic whistleblowers receive full pardons? How many are demanding the dismantling of offensive federal agencies — or, better yet, the complete dissolution of the federal government?

  3. Well, that article sure looks nice on the surface.
Am I supposed to believe that voting for Trump or Sanders will somehow magically fix everything?
At least they mentioned the banks once…you know, the ones that really control the planet. It still seems to be all about the low level functionaries.
They’re not gonna give up their power without a fight and there ain’t no voting our way out of the position we find ourselves in.
If the polls are right at least folks are waking up. Finally.

  4. I just wished they’d just get past the presidential Circus.
Hell ,l’d vote for Krusty the clown.
At least we know he’s a fake cartoon circus freak and you know it up front.
Plus he can read a teleprompter and a script.
Hell I could read a teleprompter fked up…. Vote for me!
I’ll type up any executive you want.
Cause I’m a political feces eating whore.

  5. Majority of Americans (unfortunately) want a bigger and better dog-and-pony-show, not a “revolution.” And if they do, just as long as they don’t have to fight or give up anything over it, just as long as the “three percenters” get to do all the fighting and dying like LaVoy Finicum. I hate to say it but the majority (not most, but the majority) are cowards and will accept a FEMA Camp before they will fight for their liberty against tyranny. After all (and I’ve heard this to my face in the past), they say “I pay taxes, and so should you.” Why don’t these cowards just come right out and say “Since I am oppressed, so should you be”? Cowards will never resist tyranny and defend their natural rights.

  6. There is no turning back at this point. The unions that control the federal and state employees have caused a lot of this by preaching an us against them message. The bureaucrats are now protecting their pensions by whatever means possible. The police are armed tax collectors who will shoot or beat anyone who challenges their authority. It is going to be very ugly if only 2% of us finally say no. Millions of guns are being bought as we speak because people know they will eventually have to vote with their trigger fingers not the levers on voting machines. The Fractional Banking has brought us to this abysmal state.

  7. Not sure about Trump, but the establishment hates him so that is saying something. I fully believe that if it looks like trump is going to win, he will suffer the same fate as Robert Kennedy (and John Jr). If that happens, I also fully believe that would ignite rebellion.

  8. I posted this report on two forums exactly as seen here yesterday morning. Wow it went out so happy to see that. I did not put in the rest there was more but the part posted was the main point. I would love to know the history of this and how far it went oh and I put it on facebook too.

Happy happy for it shows we are graduating from sheeple to smart asses love it.

  9. 4GW warfare wont work against a population that hates its occupiers. But it WILL work against a population that is reticent to go to war with its own countrymen who are reluctant to shoot back at its own mothers and fathers and sisters and brothers who have gone full traitor against them, and TPTB in Washington DC know this. they also know that it’s the only reason why the violent revolution hasn’t happened yet. Thats why Washington DC is employing mercenaries from Blackwater/Xe/Greystone within its agencies as its own civilian army, as they have no loyalty at all accept to money. 75 percent of the BLM Thugs at the Bundy ranch we mercs and not actual BLM employees.
