The Oregon patriot militia takeover of the wildlife refuge began after ranchers were unfairly REsentenced under terrorism statutes for controlled burning of vegetation on federal land.
Less than two weeks after the Hammonds were resentenced to five years — that’s sentenced twice for the same instance of the same “crime” they already did time for, just under different statutes — the Bureau of Land Management was filmed setting uncontrolled, unmonitored fires to land around Prince Glenn, Oregon. This is the same exact thing for which the Hammonds were put back in jail.
Some fires were lit within a mere 100 feet of corrals. Ranchers were reportedly told to stand down, forced to watch the fires creep closer to their lands, cattle, and homes and do nothing to intervene. They were told if they did, they would be arrested.
The video begins with a message from Ammon Bundy. Start around 2:55 to watch the feds light the fires that threatened these people’s property, livelihoods, and lives.
Again, burning back vegetation is the exact same thing the Hammonds were sentenced not once, but twice for — the second time under terrorism statutes. Makes you wonder who the real terrorists are.
The video clearly shows these unattended fires start to creep up on people’s homes… You can hear the ranchers talking about how the fires are cornering the cows and see the cows are burned alive.

Some 80 cattle reportedly died due to this particular string of government-set fires… and the government does this all the time.
As Gavin Seim wrote on his YouTube channel, “Two of Hammond men are being sent away for 5 years on terrorism charges because they did maintenance on the grazing land… Federal Bureau of Land Management is destroying property, terrorizing American families and torturing cattle.”
Do you see what’s happening here? It’s like watching the mafia send a message.
This should shed a lot more light on what happened in Oregon. While many people may not agree with the tactics the patriot militia used up there at the wildlife refuge, if the government comes and sets multiple fires around your land and walks away, leaving it to burn and potentially burn your animals alive and burn down your home while putting your neighbors in jail and labeling them as terrorists for actually doing a controlled burning of encroaching vegetation that doesn’t endanger everyone around it, well…

I have to agree. Burning my property would be bad enough, but if someone tries to burn a living animal in front of me, I’m shooting that sicko in the balls. Any consequences to myself can be dealt with later.

The fact that ranchers…not whimpy city folks, but ranchers, won’t even defend their homes and cattle, is just another reason why I now consider a majority (not most, but still a majority) of Americans to be COWARDS! And the majority of the locals in Burns Oregon (the counter protesters, who were in the majority in Burns, those cowardly supporters of that stupid “Law enforcement” billboard in Burns), knowing these ranchers were being bullied and their property violated, STILL support the BLM?

Just so I have this straight, are you in support of the ranchers? Are you not of the understanding that these people have already made a deal with the devil? They are of full knowledge that they will make bank in exchange for the uranium on their property. And gold. They will sell their fellow man out, and have. Masons vs Federalies, what part do you not understand!
Look, in detail, at the maps…and the lawyer/claims papers.
Yes, there’s Uranium, gold and other precious valuable metals to the east. Maybe it’s there under the Hammond Ranch too, but I haven’t seen it. If I’m incorrect, please send me the details. I trust HS to give out my email. Any more detailed info I can find on this would be welcomed.
The only map I’ve seen that shows any actual value on the Hammond Ranch land is “geothermal” (and bentonite/zeolite clay (cat litter and nuclear waste storage at WIPP…LOL) that’s available many, many other places).
I’m no expert, but geothermal is a pretty low footprint energy source once it’s installed. There should be no problem with cows grazing around its small periphery. Especially given the vast acreage in the area in question.
The money, profit question is a different matter.
Maybe that’s why certain people are trying to burn, flood or kill them out?
BTW. I’m stunned, to the bone, that no “shots were fired” during this, apparently, criminal incident.
The only thing bothering me (I know there were burned cows shown in the video) was the “allegedly 80 cows were killed” during this un”controlled” burn. It’s repeated several times. That bothers me. The number of cows burned to death should be confirmed in detail with videos by the time we are watching this.
I know I’m being picky, but there’s been enough time to get exact details.
