Gun-mounted flashlights may be intended to help police clarify murky situations, but they are increasingly being connected to accidental shootings, according to a new report by the Denver Post.

Following an investigation into the issue – one that proved difficult because of a lack of official record-keeping – the newspaper discovered that over the last nine years, there have been at least five shootings across the United States at the hands of police officers using gun-mounted flashlights. Two of the victims were officers.   Continue reading “Gun-mounted flashlights linked to deadly accidental police shootings”

Former White House hopeful and longtime lawmaker Ron Paul says United State President Barack Obama’s recent major foreign policy speech was a “disappointment” to anyone holding out for change from the current administration.

Responding to the president’s recent address at the US Military Academy at West Point, New York, the former congressman for Texas wrote on his website this week that Obama has refused to acknowledge any precedents concerning the impact of American interventionism, and instead plans on continuing a policy that attempts to extend Washington’s reach over the rest of the world, notwithstanding neither hypocrisy nor consequences.   Continue reading “Ron Paul on Obama’s foreign policy: ‘Disobey us and we will bomb you’”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Messages posted on Facebook and Twitter or sent in emails can be tasteless, vulgar and even disturbing.

But just when do they cross the line from free speech to threats that can be punished as a crime?

As the Internet and social networks allow people to vent their frustrations with the click of a mouse, the Supreme Court is being asked to clarify the First Amendment rights of people who use violent or threatening language on electronic media where the speaker’s intent is not always clear.   Continue reading “Free speech or illegal threats? You might not realize it while traveling through the small town of Pulaski County, Indiana, population 13,124, but you’re actually in a “war zone,” at least so says Sheriff Michael Gayer in justifying the acquisition of a MRAP military vehicle.

From the Indy Star:

In a pole barn in Franklin, sharing space with a motorcycle and a boat, sat an imposing military vehicle designed for battlefields in Iraq or Afghanistan, not the streets of Johnson County.   Continue reading “Indiana Sheriff Says US A “War Zone” To Justify New MRAP Military Vehicle”

Picture, if you will, the self-driving Prius that Google invented—quiet, safe, sedate, room for five. Now imagine the exact, polar opposite—a six-wheeled, self-navigating robo-truck built for off-roading and ramming, a .50-cal machine gun on its roof, and room for zero. That’s the Crusher.
While Google has been testing autonomous cars for years now, no state has allowed cars to legally. Continue reading “DARPA’s Crusher Drives Itself, Laughs at Your Puny “Traffic””

Voters have increasingly become disillusioned with the Democratic and Republican Parties. According to a poll reported by Rasmussen in April, more than half the country believes that neither of the top two parties represents the American people. As presidential candidate Ron Paul remarked in 2011:   Continue reading “California’s Top-Two Primary Eliminates Third-Party Rivals”

child sex rings the childThe Common Sense Show – by Dave Hodges

This is a story that is not about race, ethnicity or religion. Some people will make it a demographic issue in order to obfuscate the ubiquitous nature of trafficking crimes involving children. What is the crime? The crime is murdering American children for the purposes of organ theft and shipment to countries such as Israel, Turkey, India, China, et al.

There was a watershed case back in 2009 which nearly broke open the practice of child abduction wide open. The reference was obscure, but for those that would look, there is evidence enough of child trafficking for the purpose of harvesting organs to warrant a detailed investigation.   Continue reading “The Elite Are Abducting and Murdering U.S. Children for Their Organs”
