Jerusalem (CNN) — Israeli airstrikes pounded targets in Gaza, killing scores of people Wednesday as dozens of militant rockets streaked into Israel.

The continued Hamas barrage prompted Israel’s Prime Minister to step up the offensive against the militant group.

HOUSTON, Texas–As violence and cartel activity is becoming increasingly common near the border, citizen vigilante groups in Mexico–armed with rifles and machetes–are attempting to curb the crime on their own.

The citizens, who come from all walks of life, formed the vigilante groups because they feel their government has failed to control violence in Mexico. Others accuse the Mexican government of being infiltrated by cartels.   Continue reading “Mexican Vigilantes Fight Violence Near Border”

The decision to enlarge the Southern California detention center for illegal immigrants in Adelanto is being excoriated by pro-immigrant advocacy groups. Instead, they are demanding that resources be used for children seeking asylum in the United States.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the center is currently being expanded to hold up to 1,950 illegal immigrants, up from its present capacity of 1,300. Additionally, a women’s housing unit will be built. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials welcome the new construction, arguing that it will accommodate more bed space required by the Los Angeles area. ICE spokeswoman Virgina Kice explained that ICE endeavors to detain the illegal immigrants in proximity to where they are arrested.    Continue reading “Pro-Illegal Immigrant Groups Decry Expanding Detention Center”

Department of Homeland Security officials are stonewalling lawmakers who try to make unannounced visits to immigrant detention facilities throughout the country and are closing off public roads along the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to keep journalists from reporting on the growing illegal immigration crisis, federal law enforcement officials told TheBlaze.

The officials said senior supervisors have made scheduling visits ahead of time mandatory at detention facilities, turned back officials from unannounced visits, and that Border Patrol agents have been forced to clean up facilities and transfer illegal aliens from unauthorized holding cells before they are inspected by lawmakers. Reporters have also been stopped by DHS officials from traveling along public access roads near the Rio Grande, where most of illegal immigrant children and groups are crossing into the U.S.   Continue reading “Border Patrol Official: DHS Ordered Illegal Immigrant Holding Facility ‘Cleared Out’ Before Congressional Visit”

MURRIETA — As the border crisis continues, the Department of Defense is requesting that additional military bases make housing facilities and land available to accommodate a continued influx of illegal alien children.

According to information provided exclusively to Breitbart through a source requesting anonymity, Major General John T. Winters has specifically requested installation support for the Department of Homeland Security to provide temporary housing to unaccompanied alien children. The request requires bases to report any facilities across the U.S. that meet the following minimum specifications: a 24,000 square foot building, 15 acres of land “level and clear,” and access to utilities. The information is due to be reported by Wednesday afternoon, July 9.   Continue reading “More Military Bases Asked to Provide Facilities for Illegal Aliens”

A Texas man accused of killing six people, including four children, was turned away by a teenager when he first went to the victims’ home, but he returned a short time later, kicked in the door, tied up the family and then shot them in the head execution style, according to court testimony today.

Ron Haskell, 33, was charged with capital murder following his arrest after a long standoff with police in Spring, Texas.

The carnage ended when a wounded 15-year-old girl called 911 and alerted police to the shooting and said that the gunman was on his way to shoot her grandparents, police said. Cops intercepted Haskell, who was related to the victims, and took him into custody following a tense standoff.   Continue reading “Texas Shooter Kicked in Door, Tied Up Kids, Executed Them”

Dale Carnegie wrote ‘How To Win Friends And Influence People’ in 1936. George W Bush and Barrack Obama are the only Presidents adults under 35 have known since turning 18. If Bush and Obama were to collaborate on a book, it should be entitled ‘How To Lose Friends And Get Kicked Out Of Clubs.’

Does anyone believe what the President of the United States says? Are there any Americans who  think their government wants to do what is best for them? Would anyone anywhere in the world want the United States to send their military to rescue them? Do poor people in the Third World actually want American Aid if they have to take GMO food? Do bank depositors around the world trust the dollar not to collapse? How many people overseas expect the American government will supply the troops needed to kidnap dissidents and suppress the poor whenever the New World Order demands it?   Continue reading “Obama And Bush: How To Lose Friends And Get Kicked Out Of Clubs”

In February 2014, WOLA investigators paid a 12-day visit to several points along Mexico’s southern border with Guatemala. This visit was part of a larger project, begun in the second half of 2013, to monitor border security conditions, migration trends, and recent policy changes affecting this region.

Staff from WOLA’s Migration and Border Security Program have visited six sectors of Mexico’s 1,969-mile northern border with the United States since 2011, and we have reported from several of them. This is our first report on Mexico’s 714-mile southern border zone. It comes after several months of preparatory research—combing official documents, interviewing officials, and paying site visits—followed by our February research trip.   Continue reading “New WOLA report on Mexico’s Southern Border”

Murrieta police say Border Patrol officials notified them late Wednesday afternoon that there will be no flights of immigrants from Texas arriving in San Diego on Thursday or for the rest of the week.

More than a week after protesters thwarted federal officials’ efforts to send three busloads of migrants flown in from Texas to the Murrieta U.S. Border Patrol station, anti-illegal immigration activists were vowing to continue their efforts to keep the migrants away.  Continue reading “MURRIETA: No more flights of migrants arriving this week, police say”
