“Real life Tarzan” found alive after disappearing 40 years ago in the Vietnamese jungle

A FATHER and son have been found in a Vietnamese jungle after disappearing 40 years ago during the war with America.
Local officials made contact with Ho Van Thanh, 81, and Ho Van Lang, 41, after villagers reported seeing the pair dressed in loin cloths.

They survived in a tree house in the rainforest for 40 years on fruit and nuts and scavenging supplies left from the Vietnam War.

Former soldier Mr Thanh is said to have fled to the jungle, in the eastern Quang Ngai Province, with then one-year-old Ho after being traumatised by a bomb that killed three of his family.

Journalist Tri Tin said: “When I met them, I felt exactly like I was meeting Tarzan.

“They were naked, wearing only a loincloth like Tarzan, and their hair was long and dirty. They looked dumb and dazed.”

The father no longer recognises relatives and can only remember a little of the language of his native Kor ethnic group, while his son knows just a handful of words.

The pair made their loin cloths out of tree bark and used pieces of a bomb as a knife.

Officials have arranged for them to have medical check-ups before re-integrating them into society.

  1. Pay attention, people. This is what will happen to you if you attempt to survive in the wilderness:

“They were naked, wearing only a loincloth like Tarzan, and their hair was long and dirty. They looked dumb and dazed.”

And if they catch you, this:

“Officials have arranged for them to have medical check-ups before re-integrating them into society.”

No singularities allowed. ALL must become part of the collective.
