I don’t use my clutch either I can hear when to shift and feel it right in on the next gear
Clutch it Just to get it off a stop
And maybe to double clutch on downshifting..(trans brake)
I’ve got a Eaton Fuller Roadranger 9 speed in my Pete 359 behind a Cummings 300 big cam
I’ve found some different ways to shift it depending on the load I’m carrying
I only have it licensed for 100k and usually don’t get passed 80k with what I haul
Some ratios on some trans to rear end gearing can be so close that skipping a gear can be done sometimes
Someone should tell the guy in that video that he talks too much

If you look close, you’ll notice he’s not using the clutch, ontop of everything else, he’s floating the gears.
