The Best Video On Climate Change That You Will Ever See

Mish Talk

If you only play one video this year, the video below is the one you should play.

This is an absolutely brilliant speech by British satirist, Konstantine Kisin.

Is Kisin’s Video For You?

  • If you think that you, president Biden, Gretta, Al Gore, or anyone in government will do anything that matters about climate change, the video is for you.
  • If you think that you, president Biden, Gretta, Al Gore, or anyone in government will not do anything that matters about climate change, the video is also for you.

It’s less than seven minutes long. Play it.

Play the video then think about the lead chart and the path of China and India while noting the whole continent of Africa is not even on the scale.

By the way, the population of India will soon to surpass China.

Importantly, and on a personal level, the single best thing you can do for the environment is to not have kids.

Climate Deniers

I have been accused of being a climate denier. Mercy. Actually, I am a climate realist.

Climate change is real and constant and has been ever since the earth formed.

The debate is over how much is manmade and even more importantly, what to do about it, whether it’s manmade or not.

Regarding what percentage is manmade, I don’t know, nor does anyone else. But let’s say you disagree.

Then OK, I agree with you. Let’s assume recent climate change is 100% manmade. So what do we do about it?

That has been my line of questioning for a long time. I just have never been able to express my line of thinking as clearly as Kisin in the above video.

A Big Green Mess in Germany With Coal a Stunning 31 Percent of Electricity

Assume there is a problem, then if there is a solution, it will not be the like of Gretta, AOC, Al Gore, president Biden, or the Green Party hypocrites who will fix it.

Look no further than the Big Green Mess in Germany for what happens when politicians are faced with the decision to heat homes cheaply or cut back on CO2.

The EU plans to tax other nations for not addressing climate change, while Germany bulldozes a town to increase the size of a coal mine. It’s also lignite coal, the dirtiest kind.

Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck, a Green who is Germany’s economy and climate minister, defended the agreement as “a good decision for climate protection” that fulfills many of the environmentalists’ demands and saves five other villages from demolition.

World’s Largest Tax Scheme

For discussion of the EU’s hypocritical carbon tax scheme, please see EU Imposes the World’s Largest Carbon Tax Scheme.

Meanwhile, the US is marching down an idiotic path towards electric vehicle mandates with no plan on where to get the minerals for the batteries. Nor does president Biden have an reasonable plan for the infrastructure needed.

Fed Chair Warns President Biden “We will not be a climate policymaker”

Preposterous ideas have gotten so out of hand that Fed Chair Warns President Biden “We will not be a climate policymaker”

Without explicit congressional legislation, it would be inappropriate for us to use our monetary policy or supervisory tools to promote a greener economy or to achieve other climate-based goals. We are not, and will not be, a climate policymaker,” said Jerome Powell.

I am not one who often praises the Fed, but that paragraph deserves a standing ovation.

Constant Hype

The hype is constant and has been consistently wrong. In 2019 I noted Ocasio-Cortez Says World Will End in 12 Years: Here’s What to Do About It

The world will still be here in 2050.

On October 29, 2022, I noted UN Seeks $4 to 6 Trillion Per Year to Address Climate

Yeah right. Politicians are going to give Africa, India, and third world countries trillions of dollars and tax the hell out of them if they don’t comply.

The Hope of Fusion vs the Pomp of Politicians and Climate Activists

If there is a climate problem, science will find the answer, not politicians or activists.

For discussion, please see The Hope of Fusion vs the Pomp of Politicians and Climate Activists

Nonetheless, there’s A Mad Rush to Build More EV Factories despite the fact we have no idea or plan to secure the minerals needed for the batteries.

And Germany has turned to bulldozing towns to produce more coal.

What a hoot.

  1. Article says speaker is a British satirist. Wasn’t sure who he was addressing here in Tuxedo Land. Searched and found it was at Oxford. But I don’t like bow-tie guy’s condescending and slick rhetoric. He’s as bad as those on the other side of his argument. He refers to “poor people” as not caring about the earth, or in his words, “people who couldn’t give a sh*t.” Poverty doesn’t create stupidity, in fact in some cases it creates profound intelligence and reveals genius. And he calls a working person a “work idiot.” Humor, I know, but none-the-less, snobbish.

Best speech? I think not. Rather it’s a speech to uphold his personal comfort zone: status-quo. No mention of the demonization of CO2 or of all the mismanagement of resources.

Then the writer of the article inserts this:

“Importantly, and on a personal level, the single best thing you can do for the environment is to not have kids.”

When Thomas Paine wrote Common Sense, it was as if he was begging us to not overcomplicate things. To use reason and sound judgement. And what do we get? Not just over complication but lies. Lies, and maneuvers to perpetuate lies. And how come the big picture always leads back to genocide? Oh that’s right. They need rid of us.

    1. If they never touch on the last decades of intentional weather manipulation and only debate in minutiae the cooked up “science” they want people to argue about ad nauseam, I ain’t got time for them! They’re not even smart enough to look up and see it with their own eyes!

And when they follow through with the whole “depopulation” agenda, I have even less time.

      1. I think my drive to survive and live free has led me to study evil. Maybe it’s just about preparing to face it. Maybe it’s just so strange and curious that I have to understand what it’s capable of. And sometimes it’s amusing, or a challenge to unseat those who perpetuate it. Looking right into the heart of the beast shows its facade, a pathetic and puny attempt at power.

  2. Henry, I leave comments only to help people with what I believe to be worthy info. It’s ironic that your website represents our Bill of Rights which includes Freedom of Speech, yet you obviously sensor my comments. My husband , Ron and I have been donating here for years. I have other sites that do appreciate my comments, your site has its favorite cliques.
which makes it difficult for new people to feel welcome.

    1. Tammy,
I know who you are and you should know who I am. You were a frog’s hair away from being out of pending period. This is what I use to keep the trolls and the agents off this site. I don’t think you are either and I don’t work for anybody. If I were working for a wage, I would have quit doing this a long time ago. And if I was doing this for money, and if it was money I was after, I could have sold everybody on the site out several times over the years and have plenty of money, but I am not a sell out and I am not for sale.
I have not been censoring your comments, I have been taking care of my wife who is in critical condition at the hospital. Without Laura, this site does not run, period.
I put this on the front page as a Trencher Alert so everybody would know.
Your statement that this site has favored cliques is bullshit. I’ve thrown people off this site who have been here for ten years for saying such things.
Some people know me better because they’ve known me longer, and I resent anybody who would imply such a thing. I have had my bones broken, my blood spilled, and have served time as a documented political prisoner. I guess that’s why I feel like I deserve a little more respect as I’ve defended everybody’s rights and suffered for doing so.
So now that you know that I do not play favorites and if someone sends a donation, they are saying thank you for fighting for their rights for thirty years and for teaching them who they are and where their authority lies.
Considering my wife is still in critical condition and I’m working on getting her home and have just now found the time to go through the pending comments, I think you might owe me an apology. I’ll take it for implying there are cliques on this site. The fact is, the people who talk the most are generally the people who know the most, and no one is judged using any other criteria.
I’ll be straight up with you. Usually when somebody says something like this I throw them off of this site, but I’m feeling so good about getting out of that f-king hospital today and maybe you didn’t see the Alert, so we will shoot for peace between us.
Now that Laura is out of the hospital you will see things getting back to normal. I’m thinking I’ll be ready to broadcast next Monday. You see the last week I’ve only gotten one to two hours of sleep a night in a chair.
I’ll go ahead and let you guys know right now for a while we are going to be getting some doctors lined up. Laura is going to be okay but she is going to be needing some special care for a while, so if I have to make an appointment, everyone is just going to have to understand because she is the administrator of From the Trenches and she is irreplaceable, both as the administrator and as my wife.
Now, you take back that clique comment and I’ll go ahead and move you past that frog’s hair, but not because of donations or any other reason, but because I feel I can trust you, and you won’t be in a clique, you’ll be a part of a family.

  3. I have had Henry confront any BS i Had ten years ago!! He Knows his ShT!! He can straighten the path for you.
