Nano-particles of uranium, cesium and iron are being condensed at extremely high temperatures into Buckyballs. They have a particulate effect and harm cellular processes. This has never happened in a nuclear power accident but is seen in Depleted Uranium at 5,000 degrees Centigrade (9,032 Fahrenheit.)
Cesium was found in plankton between Hawaii and California. Plankton bio-accumulates radiation. A gram of plankton has 1,000 times as much cesium as a gram of seawater. Seaweed off the coast of California tested positive both for cesium and cobalt 60.
Canadian officials found 1,000 Becquerels (1,000 atomic disintegrations per second) in seabass. Cesium is attracted to the human heart. This has lead to heart problems and even death in athletes and race horses as far away as England.
Dr Chris Busby tested car filters in Fukushima in April of 2011. He found radiation levels were 300 times that of Chernobyl. But Fukushima was not physically covered as was Chernobyl so we are getting new releases of radiation from the buried nuclear reactors and from Spent Fuel Pools which in recent days have produced nano-particles of cesium and other elements.
If you believe the politicians, there is no way to turn Fukushima off. No workable plan has been put forward by international political and scientific leaders.
At this point, 300 tons of contaminated water is pouring into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima every single day. A senior researcher of marine chemistry at the Japan Meteorological Agency’s Meteorological Research Institute says that “30 billion becquerels of radioactive cesium and 30 billion becquerels of radioactive strontium” are being released into the Pacific Ocean from Fukushima every single day.
An EU-funded study concluded that Fukushima released up to 210 quadrillion becquerels of cesium-137 into the atmosphere.
Christina Consolo noticed a metallic taste in her mouth and saw the leaves of pine trees turning red. Then she saw mutant plants springing up in her hometown in Michigan in the summer after the nuclear meltdown at Fukushima on March 11, 2011. She lives near the Great Lakes. Humidity near the lakes attracts radiation from the jet stream which falls to the ground as rain. Consolo started a mutation page on Facebook.
Another area in the US with high radiation fallout is the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains which collects rain and snow fall from the Pacific. The highest cancer areas are humid sreas near the oceans, lakes and rivers.
Starfish off the coast of Washington and Canada are melting. Starfish use seawater as blood.
Polar bears and other species including humans are having problems with the hormonal effects of ionizing radiation. They have the sex organs of both males and females. This is called intersex. Radiation is a hormone and estrogen disruptor. Even low levels of radiation deemed safe by the US government disrupts DNA binding because it displaces electrons. It is also causing an excess in female populations as young males die off. A study by the US government of male fish found that fish from all but one US river showed evidence of having male and female sex organs (Intersex).
Polar bears, seals and walruses are losing fur and suffering from open sores. The Moose along the Canadian- American border are also losing hair, have open sores and are dying off.
45% of the seal pups born along the Southern California coast in June of this year have died. Salmon in Canada are dying off. Fish along the coast of Canada are bleeding from their gills, bellies and eyeballs. Fisheries along the coast and in the Great Lakes of Canada are reporting lower output. A fleet of ships in search of sardines had to return home when they could find none off the coast of Alaska.
A vast field of radioactive debris from Fukushima that is approximately the size of California has crossed the Pacific Ocean and is starting to collide with the west coast. That is the area where a lot of America’s rain water comes from. That rain water and snow fall inevitably reaches plants and animals. So it will bio-accumulate in humans who live nowhere near the Pacific Ocean.
By 2020 the entire Pacific Ocean will be contaminated from Fukushima. Earlier estimates using computer models were wrong because the radiation seems to be concentrated in plumes across the Pacific and along the Canadian and American coasts. UNSCEAR [United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation] reported only about 5% of the directly discharged radiation was deposited within a radius of 80 km from the Fukushima nuclear power station.
Ivan Macfadyen who sailed from Osaka to San Francisco this summer is still coming to terms with the shock and horror of the voyage. The Pacific was quiet. No birds. No turtles. No dolphins. Only one sad looking whale with what appeared to be a giant tumor on his head. This is due to radiation and garbage dumps.
“The ocean is broken,” he said, shaking his head in stunned disbelief.
Back in 2012, the Vancouver Sun reported that cesium-137 which has a radioactive half-life of 30 years was being found in a very high percentage of the fish that Japan was selling to Canada…
• 73 percent of mackerel tested
• 91 percent of the halibut
• 92 percent of the sardines
• 93 percent of the tuna and eel
• 94 percent of the cod and anchovies
• 100 percent of the carp, seaweed, shark and monkfish
Tests from the 1960s in the UK revealed that one X-ray to a pregnant woman would increase the chances leukemia and of brain and kidney cancer by 50% in her child. Strontium 90 replaces calcium in human bone. It has a radioactive half-life of 30 years. It caused so many birth defects in the 1950s that women demanded a Nuclear Test Ban treaty. It stopped all above ground testing. The US Defense Department knew what the nuclear weapons would do. They just wanted to see what would happen to civilians down wind from their atmospheric explosions. They even gave civilians free car washes to test the effectiveness of decontamination after a nuclear test. Of course no warnings were given about drinking water and bio-accumulation from drinking the milk of local cows.
The EPA secretly ran both a dairy and a cattle beef producing herd to test cows, calves, milk and workers. The US Army used black helicopters to conduct secret cattle mutilation studies of herds downwind from tests sites and nuclear installations. Samples were taken from the eyeballs (usually the lowest count in a body), from the rectum and from different internal organs.
The US government post-Fukushima keeps birth defect statistics low by pressuring women with possible birth defects to have an abortion. This is reported as a voluntary surgery and reduces the reported numbers of birth defects. These abortions are concentrated in areas where poor women eat the most contaminated food. Food that wealthy women would avoid. US standards for radiation allowed in food is more than twice that of Europe. 1,100 Becquerels per kilogram versus 500 in the EU. Of course if food above the 1,100 Becquerel limit were let into the food supply, one can only speculate that it would be destined for stores in the poorest neighborhoods.
TEPCO has announced a delay in its plans to remove nuclear fuel rods from the Spent Fuel Pool at Fukushima reactor 4. Each spent fuel rod weighs two thirds of a ton. I have seen comments from industry insiders saying that these fuel rods cannot explode. Perhaps they would like to explain why there was an explosion on March 15, 2011 which according to the US NRC came from hydrogen released from Spent Fuel Pool 4. The explosion blew 2 holes in reactor 4′s outer wall that were 64 square meters each in size. The NRC chairman also said all of the water in Spent Fuel Pond 4 had boiled away until it was dry.
Yale Professor Charles Perrow is warning that if the cleanup of Fukushima is not handled with 100% precision that humanity could be threatened “for thousands of years“…
“Conditions in the unit 4 pool, 100 feet from the ground, are perilous, and if any two of the rods touch it could cause a nuclear reaction that would be uncontrollable. The radiation emitted from all these rods, if they are not continually cool and kept separate, would require the evacuation of surrounding areas including Tokyo. Because of the radiation at the site the 6,375 rods in the common storage pool could not be continuously cooled;they would fission and all of humanity will be threatened, for thousands of years.”
Are you starting to understand why so many people are so deeply concerned about what is going on at Fukushima?
Helen Caldicott said that if Spent Fuel Pool 4 were to collapse due to an earthquake or a typhoon, she would immediately leave the US for Australia. It would kill billions of people in the northern Hemisphere. If our population is greatly reduced, we would no longer be able to properly maintain US and Canadian nuclear power plants. A series of meltdowns would soon doom the rest of humanity.
Several meltdowns could occur at anytime because the US has 2 reactors on top of earthquake fault lines in California. And 15 near the the New Madrid fault line in the center of America which has not been active for more than 200 years.
Have you talked to a politician lately about the non-existent US plan to help solve the disaster known as Fukushima?
