Watch as two buses, a police car and a snowplow slide down an icy Montreal hill

The Ottawa Citizen

If you’re upset that your commute took a few minutes longer this morning, be grateful you don’t live in Montreal.

Facebook user Willem Shepherd posted this video on Monday morning and it has already racked up hundreds of thousands of views.

This isn’t your normal  video of cars sliding down a slippery slope.

Watch a bus hit a pile of cars, then watch another bus hit that bus. And then a police car.

And just wait until the snowplow joins in.

  1. The cause of the collisions was stupidity.
Did those drivers think they could overcome the laws of physics?
They had to know that the roads were icy.
They should have been smart enough to NOT GO DOWN
that grade until the sanding trucks had a chance to slide through.

I am glad that Idaho allows studded tires.

    1. Wow, I would have thought that the plow driver could have dropped his plow to stop or at least slow down. Sliding like this is scary.

  2. “… be grateful you don’t live in Montreal.”

    Definitely!

I was there back in ’71 (or ’72… long time ago). Beautiful city, BUT… full of ex-New York cabbies on steroids as far as the drivers go. Lunatics!
