White House: Obama ‘Profoundly Frustrated’ — Ready For More Executive Action On Gun Control

Breitbart – by Charlie Spiering

President Barack Obama again failed to push through additional gun control efforts in Congress — even after blaming the terrorist attack in Florida on Republicans and supporters of the Second Amendment.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest revealed that Obama was “profoundly frustrated” after Senate Republicans again blocked anti-gun legislation.

Earnest suggested that the president would again turn to executive authority to try and enact gun control policies on his own.

“The president is determined to continue to use his executive authority to do everything possible to keep guns out of the hands of people who shouldn’t have them,” he said.

Earnest mocked Republicans as “cowards” who talked tough on terrorism, but were “AWOL” when it came to standing up to gun rights organizations like the National Rifle Association.

He also admitted that the president was helpless against the Republican stonewalling of more gun control.

“The president is a gifted orator, as they even like to admit themselves. They say that he is pretty persuasive,” Earnest said. “But look, if you’re not going to be persuaded by 49 minute innocent Americans being gunned down in a nightclub, I’m not sure what’s going to convince you.”

Didn’t I tell you yesterday that “executive action” would be the result of all four bills failing in the Senate? Well it’s the result, and also the reason it happened.

I think I’ve been watching this show too long…. nothing but re-runs.

  2. “But look, if you’re not going to be persuaded by 49 minute innocent Americans being gunned down in a nightclub, I’m not sure what’s going to convince you.”

I’m not sure what ‘minute innocent Americans are, but I AM sure no one was killed or even shot.

The only way you, personally, could ever convince me that guns are bad would be to put a loaded one in your mouth and pull the trigger.

At that point, I would be thoroughly convinced that guns are bad… FOR YOU, NOT FOR ME!!!

  3. Guns aren’t the problom, people are. As for the Orlando incident, I have questions. Firstly, 49 people killed huh. Where were the Ambulances in the vids. Where were the body bags. No blood and gore, or very little of it. The news media loves blood and guts! Also 50 folks hurt? How many were interviewed? For all the hoopla, there wasn’t but 3 interviews, at least that I saw.
I think it was staged like Sandy Hook and San Diego/Bernadino.

And the American People are going to do everything they can to block this illegal immigrant’s illegal executive authority. So kiss my ass!
