  2. My favorite band has a new album coming out (33 years and still cranking out the tunes, I don’t agree with their politics but I love their rebellious spirit).
As of late all the pre release song lyrics are made from old song titles, this one followed suite.

  3. Frank, if I had to listen to the music alone, I believe it would drive me mad. The lyrics (with the words on the screen, otherwise I’d probably not been able to distinguish them) provided the only redemption for the song, imo.

No reflection on your musical taste however. As you said you like their rebellious spirit, which was evident in this song.

    1. Its like a buzz saw to most, nothing better to hit the weights with or speeding down the highway IMO,
I grew up on oldies and love all that stuff too, but I must say I love The Ultra Heavy Beat 🙂

      1. Buzz saw, perfect description.
I’m not a lumberjack, truck driver(Mark S., truck driver likes it) or weight lifter so no wonder I’m not fond of it. 🙂

          1. Ok, Angel, did you like it?

Which one of the three are you? 🙂

I’m sure my mature age has nothing to do with my critique of the song. 🙂

          2. Just listened to it, Katie.
The genre is not generally my cup of tea but, I liked the lyrics. Thought it was a good choice for the Trenches.
I can definitely see it as a good long haul driving song. It would help keep me awake, though Hubby would make me “turn off that noise” (he is Country, I’m Rock).
I don’t think “mature age” is the issue… Mark and I are both old enough to be Frank’s parents… LOL 😉 It’s just a personal taste thing. 🙂

          3. “Hell Yeah,” good choice for the Trenches!

I’d be like your hubby, too. 🙂

Dang, you’re old, Mark too. 🙂

          4. Katie,
Did you see the song I posted after last weekend’s little incident in the Trenches (incident since deleted)? I had a certain someone in mind when I sent it in. 😉 Didn’t get posted until Monday morning, so the context didn’t exactly make sense. LOL Only bringing it up because I think you will appreciate/”get” it. 😉

          5. Angel, I’m not sure about the song or the incident. Darn, where was I?

Oh, the one between 2 bro’s?

          6. Katie,
            Yup, that’s the one.
You gave him a Sermon on Sunday morning (in the comments to the, now deleted, post/thread). 😉 LOL That was great. You did a good job. 😀

          7. Wow, the post was deleted as well as my poetic genius.

Yeah, I remember that post, but darned if I recall the song you posted.

            Give me clue.

    1. Huh?

Maybe #1 was hit with ransom wear and is out collecting bottles and aluminum cans to pay the rascals?

    2. Misty, did you mean the 1st comment should be much weightier in content in light of the broadcast, rather than insignificant weather stats.

Sometimes it takes me a bit to read between the lines. 🙂

  4. Angel, yeah, great song and appropriate for that particular situation.

Been a long time since “Alcohol” did any of those nasty things to me. 🙂

Brad is bad. 🙂 Love his song, “On Line.”

Yeah, that was some nasty verbal slinging going on, had me duckin a few times.

        1. Angle, it’s 7:23 am Wed., and I’m putting “On Line” on right now. Thanks for sending it in. 🙂
