  1. Chris Squire was the one constant with “Yes”. The Yes album came out in 1971, my freshman year in high school. I have fond memories of cruising the backroads chuggin’ a few beers, smokin’ some oregano, and makin’ out with Mary Lou. Yes would be playing on the 8 track!

  2. There’s a funny youtube of Chris Squire talking about opening for Jimi Hendrix, and he didn’t know who they were, and he saw them practicing and they were all out of tune and he thought they stunk. Then he looked around in the audience and saw Steve Winwood, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, and he knew they weren’t there to see HIM.
