PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia police say they have arrested a 12-year-old boy who was walking down a street with a loaded AR-15 rifle.
Police said Monday that the arrest happened over the weekend. A 19-year-old who police say was carrying a handgun was also arrested.
The department posted a picture of an officer with the seized guns on Twitter.
The 19-year-old faces a gun charge along with counts of terroristic threatening, reckless endangerment, and corruption of a minor. No charges have been announced for the 12-year-old.
The department urged parents to ensure that weapons are secured.
I have to wonder if this event was real, or staged to create a headline.
In the real world, no one (not even a 12 year-old) is dumb enough to walk through the streets of Philadelphia with a loaded AR, and the cops would have shot him to pieces if it did happen.
In the TV world, it sends the message that these things should be banned because crazy kids are prowling the streets with them.
What ever it was it got the desired result.

I simply dont believe this , and why? .. because they kill us because were holding cell phones, they kill us when we hold nothing ,they kill us for selling loose cigarettes , they kill us because they are scared..etc
this “kid” had an allegedly “loaded AR ” and they didnt “Fear for their miserable lives”?
yep..nahh I aint buying this narrative.. this is just another sensational report to give more momentum to the reasons why they want to remove us from our rightfully owned property
