ABU DHABI — Kuwait has reported the theft of a massive amount of U.S. weapons.

The Interior Ministry said thieves broke into a warehouse and stole a huge amount of firearms and ammunition. The ministry said 20,000 U.S.-origin M-16 assault rifles and 15,000 rounds for 9mm pistols were stolen.

“There were no guards during the break-in,” the ministry said on April 7.

The ministry said the target was a warehouse of the Interior Ministry in Subiya. The statement said thieves broke three doors and removed the entire contents of the warehouse.

Kuwait has been a major defense client of the United States. The U.S. military has stationed some 13,000 troops, most of them assigned to logistics, to the Gulf Cooperation Council sheikdom.

  1. Most likely these 20,000 M16’s that went missing will next turn up in Syria. I don’t think anyone could possibly believe that there were 20,000 M16 machineguns just sitting unguarded in a wharehouse, thats harder to believe than 2 planes knocked down 3 buildings.

Ohhh yeah thats already an official story too. Sad that people won’t wake up that this is not a LIBERAL vs CONSERVATIVE problem, BOTH PARTIES ARE ABSOLUTE CROOKS!

  2. “let slip the dogs of war”. IF this report is new and up to date. diggerdan asks who will be responsible for this Have you seen, how many rifles, how many rounds of 9mm……. MY, first thought is, how when where what, and how, … And I will go back to my frist line of opening,… “MARCUS ANTONIUS: And Caesar’s spirit, Cry Havoc “…

  3. And they arrest, charge and jail or fine owners of weapons in America for such negligence!!!!! Who the hell is watching the American taxpayers’ interests and property?????? Contractors or American soldiers? Probably the same idiots who let American firearms to be bought in America illegally and then “secreted” into Mexico to arm the cartels.

    1. I know, really. It’s gotten to be so blatantly bad and stupid that I don’t even know where to start anymore. And the MSM continues to not question it all and continues to help the government screw over the American people and the military continues to follow Obama’s orders rather than arresting the son of a bitch and his followers for high treason.

          1. I say have some of the men from the “Pocono Gun Supplies Join your militia today” video/article go in and be the first to start cleaning house. They seem like they are ready to roll.

  4. is that normal operating or storage procedure?

did it have an alarm system or was this all on the honor system?

    who were these weapons for?

and who if anyone under normal circumstances was security, our guys or theirs?

so many questions and few answers except those in the know

and if we knew what they knew we would know who and why

  5. convenient hassle free way to arm “Syrian Rebels” without media scrutiny and all the pesky paper work and political costs…

  6. The “so called Theft” will be used to supply O’s gangs of insurgents that will be brought in to round-up Non-Compliant Americans.

  7. How many huge trucks/vehicles are required to move that many guns?

…better yet, how long would it take to load all those up? + ammo?

    20,000 ?!?!

    cmon…that’s insanity.

      1. Hey Digger Has anyone even verified that the weapons even existed and were in this UNguarded warehouse.

  8. Maybe this is an end around. Backhauling arms for a Fast and Furious to who knows where. LOL(almost) I recall a similar “theft” of arms shortly after we reliberated Iraq on 2003.

  9. This story is obviously ridiculous, mainly because of the quantities involved (how many men & trucks and how much time is needed to steal 20,000 rifles?), but smaller robberies of this type are possible, and we need them to happen here.

We need a bunch those shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles.

  10. 20,000 M-16’S.Come on, even if there were ten per case that’s 2,000 cases. That would take a forty foot tractor trailer to haul that much off,not to mention the time to do it.In the time i spent in the army you couldn’t even leave twenty guns unguarded.Sounds like a inside job alright.

    1. Yep, that’s what I said, Redhorse. No doubt about it. The media keeps thinking that everyone was born yesterday.

  11. Could this be another “Fast and Furious” by our peace prize winning president for the benefit of the Muslim Brotherhood or al Qaeda?
