The actor Charlie Sheen had his two twin sons taken from him last week after a conflict with the producer of Two and a Half Men. His story was reported on every channel and radio station across this country and the mainstream propagandists flocked to interview him. By the second day he had a million people tweeting in his defense.
If you do not know by now that the corporate elitists control absolutely all mainstream forms of communication you are incapable of learning. Stories like Charlie Sheen’s and Lindsey Lohan’s are good for about one week of distraction, making them a premium in the industry. And the sick thing about it is that the mush minded mentally deficient American public jumps on every opportunity to be diverted from reality.
If the mainstream propaganda was true news and the truth was reported as to what is really going on in this country, three quarters of the population would run and hide, while the other quarter would attack Washington DC.
If we 99ers want to get anywhere we have got to break the news blackout that has removed us from the thoughts of everyone but ourselves. If a quarter of the 99ers would just come to a site like From the Trenches and vent their rage every day all day long, our enemies, the elitists in power, would see that we are no longer on our knees begging them for salvation, but rather that we are accumulating in a single place plotting strategies for their demise while getting one another worked up into a frenzy.
Then they would start worrying.
As long as they see that we are still writing letters and emails begging for help from those who do not care as we are continuing to cry the blues on ten thousand sites scattered around the United States, they will continue to ignore us as we offer no threat to their profit taking through the accumulating of debt.
If we live long enough we are going to get to see what it takes to get results. When that day comes and they do act to address our situation it will be because they will be afraid not to. We must find a way to confront them and get in their face. We must make them see our rage. We must make them fear us, for fear is the only thing that gets through to them.
I do see on this site, though we are few in numbers that everyone who is sticking it out is of the highest intelligence this country has to offer, which makes us superior to those who stand against us. The only thing stopping us at present is our lack of resources. The only way we can overcome this obstacle is through mass numbers organized under a common flag with a common cause.
That flag must be our Constitution and that cause must be the reinstitution of our Republic. The moneyed scum must be washed from the hands of our Lady Liberty. And at this point in the ball game it is the 99ers who must take the lead.

It is good to see any instance of anyone trying to do something about the problems that confront us. But I have to say that the concept of a Nationwide campaign to march and in recognition of the obvious lack of unity among the 99ers would seem out of touch with reality. However I will never discourage any effort.
On April 2nd, I will gather up a group of 99ers and march in front of our city hall, though in reality I do not see what good it will do as I know for a fact that the people working in the city hall will gladly join in in the protest making it a mute point. But even knowing this fact I still encourage all that are able to participate. Stranger things have happened. Who knows maybe someone will get in the mainstream news if nothing else than for the lunacy of the action.
Time is of utmost importance.
To be taken seriously 99ers must come out the cloud and show our face.
The idea of itself is pedestrian but what is brilliant is to protest at your local media and do it DAILY, nonstop. Build a team and rotate the protesters, we will attract more to the campaign. But it most be done right away.

Henry I like the way you think, cause I think the same way. Charlie Sheen was crying that he had no job ON 20 20! What is it about the media making a big deal about Charlie Sheen’s life when at least he has millions and millions and every opportunity in the world. Are we suppose to feel sorry for a guy who has two girlfriends that live with him and has millions of dollars to back him up! It was sickening to hear him say he needed his 3 million dollars a episode to support his family. The 99ers should be on 20 20 every week! The media is sick and the people who care about that crap are sick. We are a society of people that don’t know what a tragedy is when we see it!
The real tragedy is the 99ers.
The 99ers should be on the news every day, every night and every minute until this issue is solved. The millions that are suffering is the real story that should be blasted across every paper and every t.v. screen through-out the country. We need to make it known not with begging, but with protest. We shall overcome from these trenches and win!
I am going over the edge for the first time in my life. I have worked all my life and held down a job till laid off. The last job was 6 1/2 years before that 30 years. Not only am I not having any luck at getting a job but my age is against me I know. My family tries to joke about how I have gone down hill and how did I get a job yet etc. They do not know it is hurting me. May God help me keep my sanity.
You’re not alone, Kristine. You wouldn’t believe the comments/ribbing we’ve gotten from family and “friends” back home in TX. It’s like they live in a bubble. Faux News, Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh are the only “Truth” to be heard or believed. It may be better for your sanity to limit contact. Be Strong!
I started the ball rolling on the NATIONAL MARCH FOR JOBS.
People have been saying a national march is needed for some time now, yet no one stepped forward and created one.
I solved that problem for all unemployed Americans and created the NATIONAL MARCH FOR JOBs, now you have to show what your made of.
The date is 4-2-11 and the location is everywhere across America.
Anyone that would like to March For Jobs is should start their own local cell group.
Cell towers are isolated communications towers that network and communicate world wide.
So create your own local cell group and start networking this march.
The march will be cellular local marches across the nation on the same day.
One idea would be for people to hold their march outside or very near a local media outlet, that makes it a little harder to ignore.
If they ignore it no problem, record it and put it on Youtube.
This will work because people really want this march, people really want jobs.
People are tired of talking about it and waiting for someone else to do something.
There are countless unemployment blogs and twitter members, getting the word out about the National March For Jobs should not be a problem.
Everyone needs to network their cell.
I have posted the information on my blog and various other sites including this one.
There are leaders, followers and people that stand in the middle of the road blocking traffic, so please, lead, follow or get out of the way.
If people are true to their word, this has no possibility of failure.
You can either support the National March For Jobs on Saturday 4-2-11 and pass this on and make it happen or you can continue to talk about how bad things are.

We started a drive on this site a few months back with the idea of forming individual group cells all over this country. If you go to the Nationwide Rally page or the Organized Resistance page you will see that we have accumulated about 200 people.
Now you may think that you have discovered uranium in coming up with the original idea of a national march, but the fact is I have not seen the unity in numbers and purpose required to pull it off in light of a total lack of resources.
The national unions recently put together a nationwide protest march that is still going on. They may have been able to get it all together within two weeks but I doubt it. Oh yeah, and they spent $30 million in organizing their people and getting them together for the march.
It is my continuing belief that the only way we can show results at the present is through a sensational act that can be perpetrated considering our pathetic numbers of organized individuals. You probably haven’t heard of it but we have a little thing we are pushing here called the Easter Project, wherein as few as ten people can drag a cross down the street to in front of churches John Boehner and his cohorts attend for Easter services. We will then reenact the crucifixion of the 99er on the cross of corporate greed, complete with fake blood. It’s called sensationalism and I believe it is the only way we are going to break the media blackout on the 99er situation.
Now if you want to participate your help would be welcome. Hell, if you want to you can even think the idea up for yourself in a dream tonight and call it your own and name it the crucifixion project. I do not care but it is time for people like you to either put up or shut up and quit diverting to the same old unfeasible shit.
If you want to help to make a difference, step up. But for God’s sake use some of that logic you profess to possess. So I say YOU lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way.

Yes, I have seen many others trying to organize marches and you wouldn’t believe the negativity some people try into inject these various activities.
Hopefully that wont happen to our mutual efforts because as you know it is counter productive and persons like you and I, meet more than enough outside resistance .

How much longer must we wait to be recognized? We do not enjoy being unemployed! The benefits we WERE getting was not enough to live on. However, it did give us a chance to pursue employment another day. Gas prices get higher almost daily, and makes it that much more difficult to look for employment. We need help until more jobs are created so we can again be SUCCESSFUL!
This is so sad… I have been out of work for over a year now… I used this time to go back to school and further my studies. But this is even going to make a difference in this economy… Degree or no Degree, there aren’t any jobs out there.. And I am in Georgia where the unemployment rate is over the national average!
Georgia is where I just moved to. Have been out of a job for 2.5 yrs now. Lost my job in California. Had to use all of my savings and cash out my 401k. 9 months later had to move out of my apartment in with dad in Arizona. Still couldn’t find a job. About 1.5 yrs later had to move to Georgia to live with mom and so here I am. I’ll be 35 this month and the unemployment rate in Georgia just seems to be getting worse. Hang in there Tiffany. I have now lived in 3 states since being unemployed looking for a job. I have literally moved from one coast to the other. This is beyond ridiculous! I don’t see Obama doing anything about the American peoples’ plight! I have a 13 yr old vehicle that is falling apart and I can’t afford the gas money anyway. I have began trying to sell products online, but it takes money to advertise, but I have to do something to try and get some type of income. Whatever I can do in my power to help H.R. 589 pass I will. I wish I had the resources to help others who are in an even worse position than I am. I have been astounded at the lack of mentioning the 99er’s. It is absolutely unbelievable that Charlie Sheen gets 24 hour coverage, and we get forgotton.
We are like that elephant in the room that all pretend not to see. Even Ed Schultz has cut us loose.
Every week, more and more people fall off the cliff and into the 99er’s group. We are not counted, recognized, talked about, nothing!!
People in this country that are not going through this living hell, are oblivious to those that need help. If only they would look outside their own little world and see that we need support, it would help.

I do not see any relief for us 99er’s. It is hard to believe that there isn’t leftover stimulus money especially if the loans have been repaid. The republicans say they will only consider bills that have funding in place. Come on President Obama, be a leader and show Speaker Boehner the money!
Oh, but there’s plenty of unfunded aid for other countries (with no questions asked).
The only way we are going to be able to get their attention is through protests. Everyone needs to copy and paste this website on every site you visit. We are getting stronger but not fast enough. I can see a little light at the end of the tunnel. I know that we will get some attention with our easter project. I get so sick of hearing about Charlie Sheen. It is all a distraction just like Henry wrote. I’ve been away from the computer for several days and have a lot to catch up on. Hubby had fluid build up again and was hospitalized. I spend just about as much time at Piedmont Hospital as I do at my home. I’m ready to get to work and spread the word. Hang in there guys — my prayers are with you.

Well it is sad that the 99er’s are a still waiting to get help!!! I have been looking for jobs now 2 years and after only a handful of interviews have been let down many times. I have interviewed on jobs that are not even in my job area and they say sorry over qualified or we persued other candidates. I believe they are discriminating against my age and they say there are jobs out there???? WHERE???? Then you find one for me because I’m tired of hearing no extended benefits and finding a job!!! Illegal immigrants are desperate and use less as good neighbors in the U.S. They break laws entering our country then are to scared to report criminal activity of which is a deep concern to U.S communities and citizens. Most illegal immigrants are lazy drunks, illegal drug users, not smart and business owners are to blame too for hiring / harboring them which makes them worse than the illegal immigrant.
