    1. Agreed, Wade. Many of my favorite Christmas songs are from the ’40s & ’50s.

Nat & Johnny Mathis had two of the best voices ever, imo.

      Merry Christmas!

      1. Love em both, too, #1. Uncomfortable to listen to Johnny Mathis sometimes to this day because mom and stepdad would lock the vocal Siamese cat Pyewacket out of their room and turn up the Johnny to drown out his mews…stopping there……
Merry Christmas,Trenchers! I shared a family story because you all are my family:-) Apologies for any nightmares

          1. Holy cow, at first I thought Angel should change her name to Devil…. Then I scrolled up to Martists’ comment. Hell, I’m torn 🙁

          2. LOL, Deb. 😉 😀
It was definitely a reply to Martist’s story.
Though I have been told that my hallow is tipped over one of my horns… 😆

          3. Damn I should add LOL, I got the joke right away. Martist just had such a sad story. Haha, Angel rocks with her sense of humor. Smiles all around!

p.s. Shame on the mods for making us do math after MANY glasses of eggnog. Hahaha

          4. HAHAHA! LOL! I am glad someone got the history of his name and appreciates how scarred I am from living through that:-) He was a good kitty but Johnny blaring on the stereo system while a Siamese cat cries incessantly is a soundtrack to an imaginary film no young man wishes to picture and can clearly lead to permanent damage.
Merry Christmas, Angel! 🙂 We’re sharing good weather with you in Philly burbs…for now .

  1. ((Merry Christmas #1)) great collection! I loved all your favorites that you posted. I was most partial to the last video, ‘Christmas Canon’, they sounded like angels. I’ve only had a few minutes here and there between last night and today to check out posts as I’ve had a full house, mostly unexpected but well received. It’s been one of the most lovely Christmases in a long time, and I hope you and Ryan are enjoying yours as well. Merry Christmas guys! Luv ya!

    1. Thanks, Deb. I actually have all the cds those songs are on. I mostly prefer the older classic singers, but I really like the last two as far as newer ones go ( I have 3 Mannheim Steamroller Christmas cds, but I chose that particular song because I love the harpsichord).

This is the first Christmas I haven’t spent with my family in decades. They don’t communicate with me anymore since I moved, and that’s the way I prefer it. They’re totally immersed in the matrix, so we have little in common these days, other than blood relation. FTT is my family now, and I have Ryan to talk to every day about what’s REALLY going on in the world. That’s something I never had in L.A.

Glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas… 🙂

  2. You guys are killing me! Forget the sit ups, the belly laughs are good enough for tonight! LOL <3

It's still Christmas till midnight. Merry Christmas! Peace and love.

      1. …and There’s a reason why I love this place, even if I’m late to the party. Love to you all, and Merry Christmas! I sincerely hope you all had a great day with your friends and family, as I did. My wish is that one of these days, we all meet. How much fun would that be!
