Wow, I wonder if the road-builders will be faulted? I mean in an area known for extremely heavy rain, perhaps something was amiss? Just speculating. This is horrible damage. And Brookings is so lovely. I’ve heard it referred to as the banana belt of Oregon, where warm breezes often flow. Sad to see this upheaval.
Such a beautiful area. Been there many times, used to live in Brookings in a small motorhome on a cliff. Gorgeous.
In areas such as this, rain is the enemy. Anywhere beautiful it seems it’s always in some sort of danger.
