Yahoo News

BALTIMORE (Reuters) – Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has fired Police Commissioner Anthony Batts, the mayor’s office said on Wednesday.

Batts will be replaced on an interim basis by Deputy Commissioner Kevin Davis, the mayor’s office said in a statement.

Batts had headed the department during unrest triggered by the death of Freddie Gray, who died in April from an injury sustained in police custody.

    1. Well #1, they got their scapegoat. Now, things are “all better”. In other words, back to business as usual.

    2. Some trolling last night, eh? Thanks to you and Henry for setting them straight! What a pos. Henry, thank you sir for ridding us of that parasite:-)

      1. Actually, it was your late night comment that got my attention. I hadn’t commented on that one, so I wasn’t getting replies. I just decided to mosey on over and see what was up. When I read his idiotic post, I couldn’t let it slide.
I rarely ever comment that late.

        1. Haha! Yeah, I had knocked back a fewa nd stumbled over that too. “It’s” comment seemed out of place in the recent comments section. It was definitely far beyond my bedtime too but I had to bite at least once? Fu***r. Hey, it’s a good thing they’re annoyed but even better we can knock em down.
