Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he wants the Texas legislature to pass a bill next year that would make disrespect and attacks on police an official hate crime, joining a number of politicians across the country who are jumping on the “Blue Lives Matter” bandwagon.

Abbott also wants to strengthen penalties for crimes against law enforcement officers even when the incident wouldn’t qualify as a hate crime, KWTX reports. Abbott says Texas, “will no longer tolerate disrespect for those who serve.”   Continue reading “Texas Governor Wants To Make Disrespecting Police An Official Hate Crime”

Two years have now elapsed since New York City Police Officer Daniel Pantaleo choked Eric Garner to death for the apparently egregious crime of selling loose cigarettes — but the only one facing any punishment for what many believe to be a cold-blooded murder is the man who filmed it.

“I can’t breathe,” Garner pleaded eleven times — caught on film by Ramsey Orta — though Pantaleo refused to release his grip on the man’s neck.   Continue reading “2 Years Since Cops Killed Eric Garner — Only Person Punished So Far is the Man Who Filmed It”

What just happened in Turkey?  I have been thinking about this for a number of hours now, and I have narrowed it down to two options.  Either this was the worst military coup in my entire lifetime, or it was staged.  I will explain how I came to this conclusion below, but in any event the end result of this “coup” is that President Erdogan is even more popular and has consolidated power to an extent that is absolutely breathtaking.  He already was essentially a dictator, but now this “coup” has sealed Turkey’s fate and has pushed them even farther down the path toward becoming a radical Islamic state.   Continue reading “The Worst (Fake?) Coup Ever Has Enthroned Erdogan As A Dictator And Has Sealed Turkey’s Fate”

Google has received vast criticism for its Google Earth, Google Maps and Google Streetview systems that have essentially removed the inherent right to privacy and transferred it to the whim of corporate terms and conditions. However, this would seem to pale in comparison to what is being announced from the largest U.S. defense contractor, Lockheed Martin, working in tandem with commercial space imagery vendor, DigitalGlobe.   Continue reading “U.S. Defense Contractor To Blanket Earth With New Surveillance Technology”

A federal judge on Monday rejected a plea agreement between U.S. prosecutors and former Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, who had pleaded guilty to lying to investigators in a federal corruption and civil rights probe.

U.S. District Judge Percy Anderson at a hearing in Los Angeles said the plea deal “understates the seriousness of the offense.”   Continue reading “U.S. judge rejects plea deal for ex-L.A. sheriff who lied in probe”

Public awareness of chemtrails is on the rise. According to Google Trends, the keyword search for “chemtrails” was at its highest ever in Google’s history in April of 2016 (the link to this chart can be seen here.) Contributing to this trend was late musicianPrince’s YouTube video in which he discussed chemtrails, Chuck Norris (no this isn’t a Chuck Norris joke!) writing an article exposing chemtrails, and Vin Diesel also highlighting the reality of chemtrails/geoengineering on his Facebook page.   Continue reading “3 Effective Health Supplements for Chemtrail Protection”

Six senior army commanders were arrested in connection with the failed coup that began Friday night, including General Akin Öztürk, who in the 1990s was the Turkish military attaché to Israel, a Turkish official told reporters.

Öztürk, who later served as the commander of Turkey’s air force, served in his country’s Tel Aviv embassy from 1998 to 2000. The 64-year-old military figure stepped down as air force commander last year, but continued to serve on Turkey’s Supreme Military Council.
Though now considered an archenemy of Turkish authorities, particularly of its president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, prior to Friday’s coup attempt he was a celebrated military leader, boasting medals from his own air force as well as from NATO, the Israeli news website Ynet noted.   Continue reading “Suspected Turkey Coup Leader Served as Military Attaché to Israel”

Baton Rouge Police say they arrested a 12-year-old boy Friday who they say was the fourth suspect in a plot to kill police with handguns stolen from a city pawn shop.

Police arrested three suspects after the pawn shop robbery almost a week earlier. One of the suspects allegedly told responding officers that they were stealing the weapons to harm officers during protests against police-involved shootings, according to Baton Rouge Police Chief Carl Dabadie. However, The Daily Advertiser reports that the police report detailing the investigation makes no mention of an alleged threat that the suspects were looking to harm police officers.   Continue reading “Boy, age 12, arrested in alleged plot to shoot police”

If you knew the police were going to kill your child, would you call them?

On June 19 at 8:20 p.m., Gary Christian called local police on his son for “freaking out.”  Little did he know when they showed up, police would kill him.

What happened to negotiating? Police should be diffusers of situations rather than escalators. Our public servants should be willing to spend hours negotiating to save any life whatsoever.

Media is a branch of government, and terrorism is a category of media.  Without the certainty of television coverage, and the instant emotional reaction of tens of millons of people, there wouldn’t be many terrorist attacks.  What would be the point?  Shock, and fear are psychological weapons which are carefully planned on a near daily basis to be transmitted directly into your head via TV news.   Without any media to deliver the shock to an audience, there would be little purpose in carrying out dramatic terror-inspiring acts.   Continue reading “TV news anchors are part of the infrastructure of terrorism. Tens of thousands have been convicted and served time — even earning the black mark of a felony — for crimes they likely didn’t commit, a recent report found, because the cases against them relied on horribly unreliable field drug test kits.

So prone to errors are the tests, courts won’t allow their submission as evidence. However, their continued use by law enforcement — coupled with a 90 percent rate at which drug cases are resolved through equally dubious plea deals — needlessly ruins thousands of lives.   Continue reading “Study: Tens of Thousands of Innocent People In Prison Because of Faulty Field Drug Test Kits”

In a shocking article published Tuesday by the Verge, it was revealed the FBI has been quietly collecting hundreds of thousands of iris scans as part an experimental program referred to as the “FBI Iris Pilot.” Working together with local police departments, U.S. Border Patrol, and the Pentagon, the FBI has discreetly amassed 434,000 iris scans.

The surveillance technology, used primarily by airports and private security companies, was pitched in 2013 as a way to help police departments catch criminals in a safer and more efficient manner. At that point, the FBI already had 30,000 scans and was looking to coordinate with local and national agencies to develop a searchable database of scans taken by police departments across the nation. The iris scan, which can be taken from a distance and requires no physical contact, was to be taken upon arrest and submitted whether charges were pressed or not.   Continue reading “The FBI Has Quietly Collected 434,000 Iris Scans Of US Citizens”

Police in Cleveland say they aim to avoid mass arrests at the protests planned for next week’s Republican National Convention, but preparations by the city’s courts to process up to 1,000 people a day have some civil rights activists worried.

Thousands of people from across the country are expected in the city to protest the expected presidential nomination of New York businessman Donald Trump, who has vowed to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and restrict immigration from countries with large Muslim populations if elected.   Continue reading “Cleveland activists wary of city plans to process thousands of arrests”

Sources told CNN that the famed “28 pages” from the congressional 9/11 report, detailing Saudi involvement in the terrorist attack, may be released to the public as early as Friday, ending 14 years of secrecy.

“The House Intelligence Committee will get the redacted report today or tomorrow,” said Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), a member of that committee. “The Senate and House intel committees should then give the formal go ahead to release the report since they originally produced it.”   Continue reading “’28 Pages’ of Alleged Saudi Involvement in 9/11 May Be Released Friday”
