Arizona – -(Ammoland.com)- Thomas Greer gained fame in July of this year by making some imprudent statements to reporters.

He had shot one of a pair of burglars that had assaulted him in his home. He said that the woman that he killed, Andrea Miller, had told him that she was pregnant as a ruse to gain advantage and prevent him from shooting her. Greer is 80 years old, and had his collar bone broken in the assault.   Continue reading “Do not talk to Reporters after a Shooting”

Members of the Military Compensation and Retirement Modernization CommissionThe Real Revo – by Jim22

Funny thing about the image of the men who are making this change. Not one of them is wearing a uniform. That indicates that they are all civilians.

They want to do away with the twenty year retirement option. That will make it even less attractive to join up. Military people work long hours, get mediocre pay and their benefits are being constantly cut, many serve in really hazardous duty, and now there’s this… another progressive attack on our military.   Continue reading “Military Pay And Benefits Panel To Recommend Killing 20-Year Retirement”

NEW YORK – A Soros-funded group arguing to replace the U.S. passport with a North American passport appears ready to take up the mantle of championing the concept of a European Union-style regional government to supersede the sovereignty of the United States, Mexico and Canada, fulfilling the dream of the late American University professor Robert Pastor.

The future of the U.S. lies in North America, not in the United States as a sovereign nation, contends the New America Foundation, a Washington-based leftist think-tank with ties to Jonathan Soros, son of famed leftist billionaire George Soros.   Continue reading “U.S. Passports on Verge of Elimination?”

(ANTIMEDIA) Residents in the city of Gardena, California have recently reported a foul-smelling, black sludge coming from their sinks, yet the Golden State Water Company claims that this grotesque “water” is safe to drink. And furthermore, it doesn’t sound like they are doing much to test the tap water for local residents.

Customers even gathered samples of the water for the water company to test, and they still refused to test the samples because they needed “special tubes” to do so.   Continue reading “California City Says Black, Sediment-Filled Tap Water is “Safe to Drink””

The Speaker of the New York State Assembly, Sheldon Silver was recently arrested on corruption charges. Millions of dollars in bribes may have found their way to the politician. Given that the Manhattan Democrat was the most powerful person in the state legislature for years, this is no small deal.

At least part of what concerns authorities is Silver’s connection to an oncologist, Dr. Robert N. Taub a leading light in the effort to fight mesothelioma. Mr. Taub’s office may have improperly referred cancer patients to the law firm of the Assembly Speaker. These patients translated into millions of dollars in lawyer fees.   Continue reading “Cancer and Cronyism in the New York State Assembly”

There was no climate change where I live in a suburb of Newark, N.J. if by “climate change” you meant a dramatic blizzard with high winds and several feet of snow. It’s winter and you get the occasional, rare blizzard every few years, but more often you get snowstorms. That’s not “change” by any definition.   Continue reading “The Blizzard That Wasn’t”

The White House is embarking on a public relations pitch to raise awareness about President Obama’s executive amnesty, which the administration claims will provide a boost to the economy and have no negative impact on American workers — a claim which Obama himself has disputed in the past.

To help sell Obama’s unilateral action, which he announced in November, the White House has published a U.S. map which shows how much economic output will increase for each state due to amnesty. The amnesty will provide temporary relief from deportation and legal work status to approximately 5 million illegal immigrants.   Continue reading “White House: Here’s A Map To Show You How Amnesty Will Help Your State!”
