A month ago, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) was considered by many to be the GOP front runner for president in 2016. Now, even if he secures the nomination, Republicans may very likely support him only half-heartedly like they did moderate Republican Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.) in 2008, a sure recipe for losing the presidential election. New studies show that psilocybin removes the trauma and fear from memories in the minds of mice, and even stimulates the growth of a significant amount of new brain cells.
Studies from The University of South Florida indicate that psilocin (or psilocybin, which metabolizes into psilocin), found in “shrooms”, triggers new brain cell growth, and erases frightening memories from mice. Mice trained to fear electric shock when hearing a noise associated with the shock, stopped reacting in fear to the noise when given a small dose of psilocybin, much more quickly, in contrast to mice given no psilocybin. “They simply lost their fear”, exclaimed the co-author of the study, Dr. Juan Sanchez-Ramos, a professor of movement disorders. Nine people were killed and dozens wounded in Chicago shootings over the weekend. Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the nation. The Governor, of course, insists his sick horse needs more turpentine.
Gov. Pat Quinn said Sunday that such continued violence underscores why he dramatically altered a gun bill that will end Illinois’ last-in-the nation ban on carrying concealed firearms — a prohibition that’s been declared unconstitutional by a federal appeals court. SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco-area coroner whose office received the bodies of two teenage victims of the Asiana plane crash says officials are conducting an autopsy to determine if one of the girls was run over and killed by a rescue vehicle.
A man attempted to rob the wrong bus driver in Chile on July 2nd, 2013, and was met with instant karma. A passenger sitting next to the driver jumps in to assist the driver, who had already used what appears to be excellent technique in disarming the robber. I’m sure that this guy will probably never attempt a move as stupid as this again! A ‘background report’ is also included below this now viral video. 10 people have been confirmed as dead in a plane crash in Alaska according to this story [yesterday] from KTUU-TV in Alaska. Why the sudden onset of plane crashes recently? Zen Gardner put out a story today about the two nearly identical plane crashes yesterday, asking whether these were just remarkable coincidences of identical Asiana planes simultaneously on opposite sides of the globe or something caused by ‘space weather’. I agree with him that it is hard to believe that the two nearly identical crashes was accidental. Zen feels that the cause might be a breakdown and the continual decline of the Earth’s magnetic field, and other factors, and feels that it is something to always keep in mind during these drastic earth changes that we are experiencing. We have some discrepancy in official words. The cops say they got a 911 call from the home at exactly 3:38 PM, but the hospital says she was admitted at “about 3:30″. That’s a little weird the cops would get the call, get the ambulance to the house, pack her up, and then have her arrive at the hospital fast enough for the hospital to say she arrived at “about 3:30″. Should’ve been at least after 4. Continue reading “Dark Mystery: John Kerry’s Wife In Critical Condition After 911 Call”
The Statesman published a really great, in-depth story about the emerging drone industry in Austin, led by DJI Innovations, a Chinese company that’s recently set up shop in the overly-hip high tech hub.
GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — Egypt’s army is preparing for a large-scale military operation in Sinai, an army official said Sunday, as forces sealed more smuggling tunnels along the Gaza border.
SAN FRANCISCO — The tragic crash of Asiana “Flight 214″ that left two 16-year old girls dead Saturday, possibly might have more to it than meets the eye.
The Chicago Tribune reported the official story explaining how the, “NTSB Chair Deborah Hersman, speaking at a news conference at the airport, said there were no indications of any problems with the plane or the landing until 7 seconds before impact, when the crew tried to increase the plane’s speed. Hersman said data recorders show the plane was traveling “significantly below” the planned speed. Continue reading “Witness Silenced: Is there More To Asiana Flight 214′s Crash?”
