There has always been some suspicion that pharmaceutical companies would rather keep people sick and on drugs than cure them in one shot and lose the ability to create return customers.

Although the massive motive here is easy to see, with the industry bringing in over $453 billion in the United States alone in 2017, many people have a hard time considering that these companies don’t have their customers’ best interest at heart.   Continue reading “Goldman Sachs Report Warns Pharma Companies That Curing Disease Is Bad For Business”

Should a deadly pandemic comparable to the 1918 influenza outbreak reach the US in the relatively near future, the US government would be powerless to stop it. And in all likelihood, hundreds of thousands – if not, millions – of Americans will die. That’s the message from a Washington Post interview with Microsoft founder Bill Gates, which touched on many of the same subjects from a talk he gave Friday before the Massachusetts Medical Society.   Continue reading “Bill Gates Warns “Millions Could Die” If US Doesn’t Prepare For Coming Pandemic”

Two pistols made from a meteorite estimated to be around 4.5 billion years old have priced that pair at $4.5 million. The company that created the pistols, Cabot Guns, has effectively produced the world’s most expensive handguns, each worth about $2.25 million.

Known as the “Big Bang Pistol Set,” the guns were forged from metals found in the Gibeon meteorite, which fell in Namibia and is named for the nearest town after it was discovered in 1836 by English captain J. E. Alexander. Rob Bianchin, founder, and president of Indiana-based Cabot Guns said the guns have received plenty of attention for how they were made.   Continue reading “Guns Made From 4.5 Billion-Year-Old Meteorite Priced At $4.5 Million”

showdown is brewing in the State of Oregon following gun control advocates’ proposed assault weapons ban called Initiative Proposition 43 (IP43). Under the guise of “gun control” and “safety of our children,” proponents of the measure aim to effectively ban all weapons produced since the Civil War. But several counties are pushing back with their own Second Amendment Preservation Ordinances.

Klamath and Deschutes Counties are attempting to push back against the ordinance by passing their own county-wide ordinances to disallow the county sheriff from enforcing any state or federal law which would infringe on county residents’ rights to keep and bear arms. It’s effectively a ban on gun bans.   Continue reading “Multiple Cities Come Together to Pass Ordinances Making it Illegal to Ban Guns”

Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen sent a message to members of the “migrant caravan” who are now in Tijuana. The migrants announced they plan to enter the U.S. in massive numbers to declare asylum. Neilsen also addressed her warning to the organizers who may be coaching migrants on how to falsely make a “credible fear” claim.

“If you enter our country illegally, you have broken the law and will be referred for prosecution,” Nielsen stated on Wednesday. “If you make a false immigration claim, you have broken the law and will be referred for prosecution. If you assist or coach an individual in making a false immigration claim, you have broken the law and will be referred for prosecution.”   Continue reading “DHS to ‘Caravan’ Migrants: False Asylum Claims Will Be Prosecuted”

On April 9, 2018, I re-blogged Dr. James Tracy’s post on the sudden and untimely death, at age 42, of Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Fitzsimons, who had questioned the Parkland school shooting’s gun control agenda.

Now comes an announcement of another Broward County deputy death — that of 53-year-old Marshall Peterson. Yesterday, the Broward Sheriff tweeted this:   Continue reading “Second Broward County Sheriff’s deputy dead, at 53”

The World Bank is allowing Kabul to use the Afghanistan Reconstruction Trust Fund (ARTF), financed by American taxpayer money estimated in the billions, to pay for “dysfunctional” projects and possibly even “ghost workers,” a U.S. watchdog agency announced Wednesday.

In an audit published Wednesday, the U.S. Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) identifies the United States as the largest contributor to World Bank-administered ARTF.   Continue reading “Watchdog: U.S. Spending Billions on ‘Dysfunctional Projects,’ ‘Ghost Workers’ in Afghanistan”

As part of its latest disastrous earnings, which saw trading revenues tumble by 17% as new CEO Christian Sewing took over, we reported that Deutsche Bank announced a sweeping restructuring plan, abandoning its long-running ambitions to be a top global securities firm, scaling back U.S. rates sales and trading, reducing the corporate finance business in the U.S. and Asia, and reviewing its global equities business with a view toward cutting it back, the bank said in a statement. The measures will lead to a “significant reduction” in the 97,130-person workforce this year, Deutsche Bank said. We translated it more simply: massive layoffs.   Continue reading “The Purge Begins: Deutsche Bank Fires 400 US Bankers”

Augusta, Maine – Police arrested a man after he crashed his car into a ditch and passed out from the impact caused by the deployed airbag, and they claimed they thought the bag of powder they found in the car’s glove compartment was heroin.

The vehicle is owned by Kevin Raymond Curtis, 57, and he told Central Maine that the powder was actually the cremated remains of his father, which he was storing in the vehicle until he received the urn he ordered.   Continue reading “Man Arrested After Police Mistake Dead Grandpa’s Ashes for Heroin”

Recently, I received an email from U.S. Senator Rand Paul regarding an issue which may upset, or be near and dear to, the hearts of many Americans; it stated the USA taxpayer is the second largest DIRECT financial funder of the U.N.’s global gun ban!  Did you know that?  Of course, most people probably don’t, and such information is one of the reasons I’ve been saying for umpteen years, “Get the USA out of the UN; get the UN out of the USA.”   Continue reading “U.S. Citizens Fund UN Arms Trade Treaty Which Impacts U.S. Gun Ownership”

The NRA continues to rake in money in the wake of gun control activists vocally demanding the government strip away the rights of gun owners.  The gun rights lobbying group broke fundraising records in March largely thanks to the gun control crowd.

The numbers don’t lie either. The National Rifle Association’s Political Victory Fund raised $2.4 million from March 1 to March 31 of this year, according to The Tampa Bay Times.  As the March for Our Lives movement captured the mainstream media’s attention because it fit their carefully crafted pro-government narrative, in the weeks after the Parkland shooting, the other side of the gun control debate enjoyed a big month of its own.   Continue reading “The Backfire Continues: NRA Breaks Fundraising Records In Wake Of Gun Control Demands”

Newark, NJ — A police officer in New Jersey was arrested by the FBI after he was caught selling drugs out of his patrol car and near the police department, in a sting set up by undercover agents.

Ruben McAusland, 26, reportedly sold roughly $12,000 in drugs to an undercover buyer who was working with the FBI, US Attorney Craig Carpenito said in a statement. McAusland is accused of selling at least 35 grams of marijuana, 48 grams of heroin, 31 grams of cocaine and 31 grams of crack between October 2017 and April 2018.  Continue reading “FBI Arrests Cop For Selling Drugs—On Duty—From His Own Patrol Car”

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) officially repealed the agency’s Obama-era 2015 net neutrality order on Monday.

In December, the FCC passed the “Restoring Internet Freedom Order,” which repealed the agency’s Obama-era net neutrality regulation. The FCC published the regulation in the Federal Register in February, which started a 60-day timeline for the rule to take effect on Monday.   Continue reading “FCC Officially Repeals Obama-Era Net Neutrality Order”

While it will likely take the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons weeks or even months to issue their final report on the alleged gas attack in Douma (an attack for which journalists and other independent parties have failed to find any evidence), the organization’s investigators have apparently spoken with Russian military officials after visiting the site of the Barzeh research center in Damascus – one of the three facilities targeted by the strikes.   Continue reading “OPCW Investigators Reportedly Found “No Evidence” Of Chemical Weapons At Syrian Facilities Bombed By US”

Several reports indicate that the fragments of the “migrant caravan” are now arriving south of the U.S. border with Mexico. Border Patrol officials in California and Arizona said they have not seen any illegal border crossings between ports of entry this week.

Over the weekend, about 600 migrants arrived via train in the northern Mexican city of Hermosillo, the Associated Press reported on Tuesday. The group plans to continue to Tijuana in the next few days.  Continue reading “Reports: ‘Caravan Migrants’ Waiting to Cross Mexico-California Border”

Increasingly it appears that the recent US coalition missile strikes on Syria have utterly backfired:instead of weakening Syria or degrading its military capabilities, the attack may have actually served to strengthen Syria’s defenses.

Since the massive strike which involved the US, UK, and France launching over 100 cruise missiles, Russia is rumored to be moving forward on delivery of its advanced S-300 missile defense system, which would be a monumental upgrade allowing Syrian defenses to far surpass current capabilities which utilize the Soviet-made S-125 and S-200 air defense systems.   Continue reading “US CENTCOM Chief Makes “Secret And Unprecedented” Visit To Israel As Russia Mulls Arming Syria”

The US is reeling from another tragedy this week after a deranged madman walked into a Tennessee Waffle House and began firing rounds from an AR-15 which he was not allowed to have. Gun control measures that were in place—and actually led to the confiscation of Travis Reinking’s guns—did not stop this killer from carrying out the sick thoughts in his head.

Gun control was in place and it failed. What’s more, less than 48 hours after Reinking murdered four people in a Waffle House, another mentally ill man with a seeming thirst for blood went on a killing rampage in Canada, who has some of the strictest gun laws in the world.   Continue reading “Canada’s Worst Mass Killing in 30 Years Proves Lunatics Who Want to Kill People—Don’t Need Guns”
