Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg flew to Israel Tuesday night to protest a ban by the Federal Aviation Administration that is preventing U.S. airlines from flying into or out of Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport.

Bloomberg is flying on the Israeli airline El Al.

“This evening I will be flying on El Al to Tel Aviv to show solidarity with the Israeli people and to demonstrate that it is safe to fly in and out of Israel. Ben Gurion is the best protected airport in the world and El Al flights have been regularly flying in and out of it safely,” Bloomberg said in a statement.   Continue reading “Bloomberg flies to Israel to protest FAA ban”

The top issues for Latino voters in the United States are immigration, the economy, health care and education. Rarely do issues pertaining to the Middle East register a blip in the polling of Latino voters, except for when it comes to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

So why are pro-Israel groups spending more and more resources courting Latino elected officials, community leaders and students?   Continue reading “How the Israel lobby is courting US Latinos”

Mao Zedong, founder of the People’s Republic of China, qualifies as the greatest mass murderer in world history, an expert who had unprecedented access to official Communist Party archives said yesterday.

Speaking at The Independent Woodstock Literary Festival, Frank Dikötter, a Hong Kong-based historian, said he found that during the time that Mao was enforcing the Great Leap Forward in 1958, in an effort to catch up with the economy of the Western world, he was responsible for overseeing “one of the worst catastrophes the world has ever known”. During a debate about Sandy Hook with someone who refused to identify himself other than as “Count One”, I was repeatedly challenged to produce extraordinary evidence.

He repeated and repeated the refrain, “Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof!” But the evidence I was producing, time after time, was extraordinary and met that standard.   Continue reading “The Sandy Hook “Smoking Gun”: Game, Set, Match!”

The concept of a “Greater Israel” according to the founding father of Zionism Theodore Herzl, is a Jewish State stretching “’From the Brook of Egypt to the Euphrates.’

Rabbi Fischmann, of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, stated to the UN Special Committee on 9th July 1947 that:

The Promised Land extends from the River of Egypt up to the Euphrates, it includes parts of Syria and Lebanon’”, wrote Michel Chossudovsky. (1)

A hospital was shelled, killing and injuring staff and patients, and up to 28 members of one family died in an air strike as Gaza endured another day of relentless bloodshed on Monday.

An international lawyer says President Barack Obama’s statements on Israel’s deadly onslaught against Palestinians stem from “power politics” as he and other US politicians are “owned” by “the Zionist lobby.”

“We should never be so naive as to expect anything said by President Obama that touches on the subject of Israel to be based on sound logic or on facts,” said Barry Grossman in a phone interview with Press TV on Monday commenting on Obama’s remarks about Israel’s offensive on Gaza.   Continue reading “Obama, US politicians ‘owned’ by Zionist lobby: Barry Grossman”

As the only non-European journalist to cover The Hague inquiry into the Amsterdam crash of El Al flight 1862 (October 1992), which destroyed a Biljmeer district apartment complex, I discovered many aspects of the Israeli security set-up at Schipol International Airport and the role of the Mossad intelligence agency in secret operations there, one of Europe’s business transport hubs. This same airport spy network is very likely involved in the recent crash of Malaysian Airlines flight 17 over the Ukraine.
