CBS Sacramento AP A bill that passed the Assembly with unanimous bipartisan support Thursday encourages California schools to teach students about the racial significance of Barack Obama’s presidency.

The Assembly approved AB1912 with a 71-0 vote and no debate or discussion. It now heads to the state Senate.
The bill by Assemblyman Chris Holden, D-Pasadena, asks state education officials to include Obama’s election in history and social studies standards laying out what students are expected to learn.

  1. The racial significance of Obama’s presidency was summed up by a comedian who described him as “the LAST black president”, but on a more serious note, he’s only half black and only half white, and he still managed to get both races to hate him.

Maybe it has little to do with race. I’m sure I’d hate the son-of-a-bitch for what he’s done to this country if he were my own father.

  2. Racial ???
    Is that a joke?
This country had less racial issues BEFORE he moved into the white house.

    Significance??

You have got to be kidding….

    1. unless they are speaking about the USA’s first Kenyan born president…

Then yes… He is the first “half white” president …until he was “elected” then immediately became the nations first black president.

    1. @ the Gov’s mansion (imagine that!), in Nevada, on 5/27 they are holding some sort of forum about commie core…YES, you know I will be there.
