AmmoLandCovington VA –-(Ammoland.com)- Virginia Citizens Defense League is planning a protest at the first Virginia stop for the Bloomberg gun-control tour. The event is scheduled for 9:30 AM at an empty lot in Blacksburg VA.

200 Clay St. SEBlacksburg, VA
The event currently has no set ending time and I plan on hanging around as long as the antis are there. I expect it will last several hours.
I will be bringing some signs for people to carry, but feel free to bring your own if you wish.
Here’s some ideas for wording if you wish to “roll your own”:
- Guns Save Lives
- N0 more gun control!
- Universal background checks = gun registration
- Gun control kills!
- Keep your hands off my liberty
- Gun control failure: Chicago
The tour has been trying to recruit people at Virginia Tech so they can have a friendly audience for their message.
We fully expect the press will be at this event. We need a good turnout so we can make sure our messages gets heard loud and clear! If you can only come for a little while, that is OK. So you don’t get too thirsty, you might want to bring a large sugary drink to enjoy. 
You can park in the nearby Kent Square parking garage.
I will be in contact with the police to let them know that we plan on protesting the event.
I will send an update on VA-ALERT when the event begins wrapping up.

Bloomberg’s certainly trying to jam in as much illegality & tyranny into his final months in office as possible.
Nice write up by Steve P. below. Scary to wonder if this guy will be more dangerous out of office then in. One thing’s for sure, next year, out of office after 12 years as mayor of one of the world’s biggest cities, he will with out a doubt be suffering from a severe case of ADD. And that’s a dangerous cocktail when you combine it with billions of dollars, a massive ego and a “I’m coming after you when I’m out of office” hit list.
