The message this sends is , if your going to excercise your First Amendment Right , you better be able to back it up with your 2nd amendment right , mass of like minded people will either do 1 of 2 things
Either provoke the State to fire on us
Or for them to back down
Problem is , we let them leave …they weren’t going to let any of those people leave , in fact they were going to kill as many as they could
