California cops on trial for beating homeless man to death

Published on Dec 2, 2013 by RT America

The trial for two Orange County, Calif. police officers involved in the death of homeless man Kelly Thomas began Monday. Former Fullerton Officer Manuel Ramos has been charged with second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, while former Corporal Jay Cicinelli has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and excessive force. A third officer, Joseph Wolfe, will face trial in late January. Surveillance video shows the officers beating Thomas with their fists and the butts of their guns, and tasing him at least four times. Meghan Lopez shows the disturbing footage and discusses the trial with RT correspondent Ramon Galindo, who has kept a close eye on the case.

  1. Life in prison or the fireing squad/electric chair for these cops. They intentionally beat this guy to death. I would LOVE to see these cops in prison – general population – and see just how tough these swine bastards are…. I can guarentee you that if I beat somebody, and then he died, and I had a gun, taser, and what ever else that I would be charged with 1st degree murder and I would be rotting the rest of my life off in prison, guarenteed.

    1. These gestapos/murderers will likely be found not guilty and their actions “justified”. Cops kill because they can get away with it. That’s why I essentially laugh when they find themselves on the end of being the ones killed. This is just another case of how well the police in this country took to the Israeli training.

      1. Oh yea Sunfire, I know first hand how cops like to beat, threaten, lock up, and intimidate people when they got 2 or more there to beat someone. Cops like these need to be held accountable for their actions and if the courts do not want to hold these cops responsible then it is the peoples responsibility to take matters into their own hands, especially with a case like this. This was intentional murder, at least it would be if I killed someone like they did.

  2. That poor man was screaming “Daddy…Help me!!!” while the cops beat him to death.
If that had been one of my daughters or even one of my kin those cops would have never made it to a courtroom.
That poor mans ex-cop father still believes in the so-called justice system.
He should have found those badge wearing ratfukk sons of bitches and greased them. Justice.

  3. Bottom-feeding scumsuckers like this are one of the main reasons I hate L.A. so much.

Retribution is forthcoming, and will be most welcome.
